The Vernaccia di San Gimignano Wine Consortium at Vinitaly 2026

The Vernaccia di San Gimignano Wine Consortium will be present at the 58th edition of Vinitaly , scheduled to take place in Verona from Sunday 12 to Wednesday 15 April 2026. The consortium stand, hosted in Pavilion 9 - Stand C14 , will offer tastings of 70 labels of Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG , including vintage and Riserva wines, alongside a selection of San Gimignano DOC .

A presence that this year takes on a particular meaning: it marks 750 years since the first documented attestation of the wine and 60 years since the DOC: it was Vernaccia di San Gimignano, on 3 March 1966, that received the first Controlled Designation of Origin in Italy.
