The Consorzio vini Suvereto e Val di Cornia confirms its participation in Vinitaly (6-9 April, Verona) and moves within the 'Quartiere Suvereto' which is consolidating within the Tuscany Pavilion.
Surrounded by the stands of some companies of this small Maremma municipality, the Consortium will propose in the glass over 20 labels, for an in-depth journey through the ampelographic diversity of the Val di Cornia, where the most traditional vines, such as Sangiovese and Vermentino, blend with those of Syrah and Cabernet Franc, a new winemaking frontier of an area that has always had an international vocation.
“We are moving happily into the heart of that area where the presence of Suvereto and its wines is strong – declares Daniele Petricci, president of the Consortium - Our neighbors will be the same companies with which we work every day to affirm the goodness of our denominations, which have their environmental and identity context in Val di Cornia and Maremma. The goal is to continue to increase their knowledge and reputation, aware of the socioeconomic role they play for our countryside”.
