THE ENOWEEK OF MONCALIERI IS BACK. SATURDAY 27 “THE WINE SHOW” AT THE ROSE GARDEN

Turin, 23 May 2023 - The Moncalieri EnoWeek is back for its second edition, with a week dedicated to food and wine. Many appointments between meetings and talks, between tastings and widespread dinners. Saturday 27 May the event culminates with the Wine Show in the Rose Garden of the Moncalieri Castle , which will host more than 80 companies from all over Italy , in a snapshot of the wine world from north to south, to get to know all of Italy's wine .

The event, with the support of the City of Moncalieri as part of “Moncalieri. Every step, a discovery,” was born in collaboration with CITTA DEL GUSTO-GAMBERO ROSSO, GOWINE, FISAR TORINO, REGIONAL WINE SHOP OF THE PROVINCE OF WINE OF TURIN AND WOUSE- TURIN WINE SHOW.

The most varied container for the culture of eating and drinking well and with awareness on the territory of Turin and Piedmont, returns from Wednesday 24 to Saturday 27 May , with the second edition of the ENO WEEK in Moncalieri , as part of the review " Every step, a discovery” . A journey that tells Italy through its labels , starting from our region and the wines of the Torino Doc, passing through the great wines of Veneto and Trentino, the class of Tuscan wines, arriving up to the summer flavor of Southern Italy.

On Wednesday 24 and Thursday 25 also two appointments at the Il Punto d'Ascolto winery in Moncalieri , where, thanks to the collaboration with WOUSE - Turin Wine Fair and Le Strade di Turin, to discover the native vines and wines in amphora, young and historic cellars, we will talk about sustainability through the tasting of unmissable labels. Every evening 4 wines will accompany the talk, with the possibility of combining 4 tapas selected for the occasion.

Friday 26 May the Night of Wine begins at 6 pm on the splendid terrace of Palazzo Civico overlooking the historic Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, where the public will be able to discover, in a free tasting counter , more than 10 wineries selected by FISAR TORINO, accompanied by a aperitif plate (COST 10 Euros)

We continue with the dinners spread throughout the city between moments of meeting between great producers in combination, an absolute novelty of this year, with the culinary excellence of Moncalieri. Among the appointments:

• Sensi Bistro meets Poderi Roset
• At Borgo Antico it meets Casa Baricalino
• Vin Bistro meets Cantina Oreste Buzio
• Ca Mia restaurant meets Bolgheri wines with Provinciale Bolgherese

The event culminates on Saturday 27 May in the Rose Garden inside the splendid Moncalieri Castle, Savoy residence and UNESCO heritage site immersed in the scents and colors of the flowers. From 5 to 11 pm it will be possible to meet producers from all over Italy among the excellent wines of the Piedmont area and, thanks to the collaboration with the Municipality of Moncalieri, taste the traditional products of the Moncalierese land, in a real km 0. Moncalieri tripe, Tripe, Moncalieri lard, Moncalieri sausage, Tabasso radish . In fact, May is the perfect month to savor Moncalieri specialties accompanied by the best wine labels in Italy in the Union of history, culture and local food and wine.

The event aims to find the center of its message in cultivation practices and attention to the environment, aiming to involve, as with the Turin editions, also a young, passionate, aware and attentive public.
