Everything is ready for the ribbon cutting of the 32nd edition of the Merano Wine Festival , the international food and wine event that will liven up the city of Merano in Alto Adige from 3 to 7 November , hosting Italian wine excellence and beyond. The presence of the Barbera d'Asti and Vini del Monferrato Consortium is therefore inevitable, with the aim of describing the Monferrato of wine and communicating the resources and products of a territory unique in the world. “The Barbera d'Asti and Vini del Monferrato Consortium - says President Vitaliano Maccario - with its 13 protected denominations - 4 Docg and 9 Doc - embodies the unitary and organizational part of the entire Monferrato wine region, a territory with an inestimable enological heritage which finds on occasions such as the Merano Wine Festival an ideal stage to communicate the great quality of our wines and the extraordinary nature of our territory. For us, being among the protagonists of the Festival once again means consecrating a path that has lasted for years and in which we believe. Gathering the sentiment circulating during the event, interacting with other producers, gathering appreciation but also constructive observations from qualified operators, is of fundamental importance to best spread and communicate, in national and international markets, the image and quality of the products. our wines and the territory from which I come".
