The meeting of wine, people and web

For the Tenth Edition TerroirVino (http://www.terroirvino.it) is extended to two days with a Sunday open to everyone, and a Monday afternoon, after the Unconference of the morning, dedicated especially to operators. Place of the meeting: the Cotton Warehouses in the Old Port of Genoa, with about 120 selected exhibitors, present personally, and over 600 wines, oils and beers for tasting.

The meeting of wine, people and web is the slogan of the event: the best companies tested since 2000 to our days by the commission of TigullioVino.it with the 2013/2014 news concerning the more accessibile wines and oil for their drinkability, quality and value for money; the meeting with people who through their wines and their history give emotions and provide an experience of local culture; a time of verification, real and tangible, between our structure, the public and experts.


The Unconference and related events

In the vast panorama of events dedicated to wine, TerroirVino has always distinguished itself for its ability to attract most of the protagonists of the food and wine communication on the net, a feature that since 2009 has also enjoyed a specific moment of meeting (this year it will be in the morning of Monday, 16th June), between the world of communication and production: Vinix Unplugged Unconference, the "non–conference" on the subject of wine, food and online interaction.

In this moment of exchange and comparison, informal in its manners but full of contents, participate every year communications and marketing experts, journalists, bloggers, producers, traders and anyone who has the pleasure of sharing content and ideas with interesting interventions partly selected by us and partly rated online on Vinix directly by the public during the month of May. Participation is open to all, but has a limited number of places for an as best as possible organization (no more than 200 people). It is therefore accessible only by reservation (http://www.terroirvino.it/vinix-unplugged-open-unconference.htm). Those who are already in town the day before for the first day of TerroirVino, will also have the opportunity to book for the dinner with producers on Sunday evening.

Garage Wines Contest

Now in its fifth edition, it is an international free meeting for amateur winemakers that, after the preselection by a committee of TigullioVino, between April and May, will see the announcement of the winner at the Old Port of Genoa by a joint committee of experts and enthusiasts. To the winners, a free giveway stand in TerroirVino, where they will have the honor and the duty of presenting their wines along with professional producers. Any information here:

Tastings from below

Wines and territories told in a friendly and understandable way also to newbies, by ordinary but competent people and, especially, "close", by birth or life choices, to the place they choose to tell, flanked by special author vintages conducted directly by the winemakers. Entrance regulations, schedules and costs of TerroirVino

The appointment for TerroirVino is on Sunday, 15th June, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., open to everyone, and on Monday, 16th June, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., addressed particularly to operators. TerroirVino entrance: 20.00 € (including tasting glass, strap, exhibitor catalog, map and entrance pass). On Monday, numerous giveway invitations will be distributed only to operators.
