The meeting of Wine, People and Web

Terroir Wine is the brainchild of the Editorial Board of TigullioVino.it, point of reference for the food and wine information on the web in Italy from April 2000. The event consists of the presentation to the press, to operators and to the readers of the site, of the best selection of wines and producers identified over the years through the work of its two committees of tasters. In particular, among all the wines tasted, the selection rewards producers and the wines that, in addition to the high quality and excellent quality/price ratio, are also able to convey strong emotions and respect for the variety and/or the territory of origin. Not only and not necessarily "trendy wines" or "top wines", then, but wines that deserve attention for their quality, originality and drinkability.

After the three successful editions held in some of the most beautiful locations on the Ligurian Riviera, and after the successful transition in the Ducal Palace, one of the most prestigious historic buildings, from the Sixth Edition the meeting was moved to the lively heart of Genoa, at Porto Antico, in the congress center of Magazzini del Cotone. Near the "claim" of the event - the meeting between wine, people and web - that emphasizes the need for current and constant comparisons among producers, traders, public and independent information of which we are active participants, there is the title "Terroir Wine", which aims to emphasize the link among wine areas on a common ground for discussion and dialogue.

Companies that are part of the quality shortlist, invited to take part in the meeting, represent the best of what was tasted by our tasters committees since 2000. In addition to new exhibitors that each year are added to the shortlist, the committees verify the requirements of quality for the possible reappointment to the meeting of the companies already awarded in a previous edition. Companies that are reappointed receive, each year, an award for their quality consistency, while new companies are awarded with the Mention "Excellence" or "Quality/Price", with the wines that make them deserve the entry into the shortlist of absolute quality and/or quality/price on TigullioVino.it.


Entrance modality, time and costs
From 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, reserved access to the press, bloggers and operators
From 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm, opening of the event to the public
Closing at about 8:00 pm.

Costs:
Entrance fee: 20 Euro (pass for tasting, glass, shoulder strap, exhibitor catalog)
Bar Service: continued, from the opening to the closing of the event, at a fee.


Program

09:30 am: arrival of the exhibitors and accommodation in their workstations

10:00 am: Opening of the event to the press, operators and bloggers with invitation

From 2:00 pm to about 8:00 pm: Opening to the public

Shopping

During the event, you can buy wine, olive oil and food at price of production by their producers who are organised by themselves to do so also for tax purposes. Of course, it will be possible to carry out orders or to set up meetings and appointments throughout the day.
