These are, in short, some events of the rich program of Sorgentedelvino LIVE – 14th to 16th February 2015 in the pavilion two of Piacenza Expo – the 7th edition of the event dedicated to unique and unrepeatable natural wines, a reference point in Italy. An edition to know the most authentic wine culture, the one that tells the land, farm work, the rediscovery of ancient flavours, endangered grapes and retrieved traditions. Three days focusing on the value of agriculture, among tastings, meetings and debates. This year, in addition to the historical names of natural wine there are also many young producers who have chosen to take up the work of grandparents, creating innovative winemaking projects.
For the duration of the event thematic and very interesting tastings will be held, organized by Jonathan Nossiter, Laura Zini, Sandro Sangiorgi and Fabio Luglio.
Saturday, 14th February at 3 p.m. director Jonathan Nossiter presents the "Desistenza a Milano" e "Resistenza alsaziana" medium–short films; the latter tells the story of Mowers Volunteers of Colmar, a group of winemakers and citizens who, after a trial lasting five years were acquitted for having cut a GM vineyard in Alsace. On Sunday, 15th February, at 11 a.m. Sandro Sangiorgi presents the Italian edition of the comic book Etienne Davodeau " Gli Ignoranti. Vino e libri: diario di una reciproca educazione", the story of an author of comic reportage and of a producer of biodynamic wines who decide to learn the craft of the other. He concludes the three–day round table "The added value of natural wines in restaurants" dedicated to winemakers, innkeepers and restaurateurs, to be held Monday, 16th February at 9:00 a.m.
The opening hours of the stands are: Saturday, 14th February from 2 to 7 p.m., on Sunday, 15th February from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Monday, 16th February from 12 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission € 15 including tasting glass.
