RADICI DEL SUD: REGISTRATIONS CLOSED ON EASY CONDITIONS HERE'S THE NEWS ON THE CALENDAR FROM 5 TO 10 JUNE 2024

The Norman-Swabian Castle of Sannicandro di Bari will host the nineteenth edition of Radici del Sud from 5 to 10 June 2024 in collaboration with Assoenologi, AEPI, Vinarius and the media-partner newspaper Vinodabere . A week of wine&buyer-tours, competitions, B2B meetings and tastings in which companies from Abruzzo, Molise, Basilicata, Campania, Calabria, Puglia, Sardinia and Sicily will present their productions to the press, importers and to the public who will attend on Monday 10th June during the Show of wines and oils of Southern Italy which will once again become a market exhibition. Furthermore, for the ever-increasing number of artisanal wine producers, for the sixth consecutive year, the space dedicated to this type is reconfirmed, which will also include oil producers from Southern Italy.

The days of 8 and 9 June will be dedicated to the Southern Wine Competition judged by four groups made up of journalists and bloggers of national and international fame who will be joined this year by a delegation of wine merchants from the Vinarius and Aepi circuit who will meet the producers during the BtoB meetings and the day of the show open to the public. The further novelty of the 19th edition will be the opening of a reserved area, on 8 and 9 June, for professionals and wine and oil enthusiasts accredited through our website, who will want to test both the competition samples and the oils present at the event.

The press&buyer tours have been reconfirmed for national and international guests to discover the wine and oil production of the South during their stay in Italy.

The conference open to the public will be reconfirmed on Monday 10 June from 11.00am where the best labels selected during the 19th competition which will close the work of the 2024 edition will be rewarded.

The wine and oil exhibition will open to the public on Monday 10 June from 3.00 pm , when wine and oil enthusiasts and sector operators will be able to access the tasting tables and meet producers from all over the South to discover, taste and possibly purchase wines and oils. The event closes with the Gala (9.00 pm) in the courtyard of the Castle for the press, operators, producers and the accredited public where the winning wines of the competition and the oils from the salon will be freely available for tasting for the entire duration of the evening. While waiting for the summer event Radici del Sud will organize a second event of "Waiting for Radici del Sud" scheduled to start in February.
