RADICI DEL SUD INNOVATIVE EDITION THANKS TO THE ROOTS WINEROCK PLATFORM

Radici del Sud presents Radici.WineRock , a digital platform that will allow you to participate in the event even in virtual mode. The 15th appointment with the wines and oils of Southern Italy, scheduled from 18 to 23 November 2020 at the castle of Sannicandro di Bari (BA) , will in fact also develop through the innovative portal where webinars, tastings and online meetings will be hosted with the winegrowers . The same platform will also have an e-commerce , where it will be possible to directly purchase all the wines participating in the event.

" Radici.WineRock was born thanks to the collaboration of recent years with Rocco Catalano , marketing and management expert for the tourism and food and wine sector - explains Nicola Campanile , creator of the event - and was created thanks to a team of engineers, web developers and of communication as a response to the exceptional situation in which we find ourselves, which prompted us to experiment with innovative ways of using Radici del Sud. We therefore created a virtuous online space for the world of wine in Southern Italy: an opportunity to multiply contacts between producers and consumers, to encourage training and enhance exchanges, while at the same time increasing visibility for all companies participating in the event ".

Within the Radici.WineRock platform, producers will be able to exhibit their wines and present them to the public, organize online tastings and participate in training sessions held by professionals in the sector. Each month there will also be the opportunity to meet a winemaker through an online meeting lasting 30 minutes to discover the history and work of the winemakers of the South.

Alongside the digital use of Radici del Sud, the event will involve, as every year, journalists and experts who will evaluate the wines in competition, all from Abruzzo, Molise, Puglia, Basilicata, Campania, Calabria, Sardinia and Sicily. Monday 23 November will be the final day of the event, which will see the awarding of the winning wines and the appointment with the Exhibition of wines and oils of Southern Italy, where it will be possible to taste the products on display and dine inside the walls of the Sannicandro castle.

Access to the tasting desk will be limited in three time slots: 16-18, 18-20 and 20-22 and tickets to access the event are available at www.radicidelsud.it

On the same portal, registrations are still open for all producers of wines and oils in Southern Italy who wish to participate in the exhibition open to the public or in the competition.
