70 producers for more than 350 wines for tasting, the not obvious expression of all Italian regions. Direct encounters with winemakers, old vintages, artisans of taste. Pietrasanta Vini d'Autore-Terre d'Italia will take place on 19th and 20th May in the heart of one of the liveliest towns of Versilia, destination for tourists lovers of beauty and delicacies, that boasts an ancient propensity for art, starting with Michelangelo and reaching the present day thanks to Botero, Mitoraj and the many exhibitions and galleries.
Under the arches of the inner Cloister of S. Augustine, in the historic center, the gathering of wine producers will take place, joining an eclectic, varied, challenging and not obvious selection of the production of excellence that goes from the north to the south of our country.
The show, in its first edition, is conceived and organized by the group responsible for the online magazine L'AcquaBuona (www.acquabuona.it), fresh of the new great success of Terre di Toscana, an event that now is a national reference for enthusiasts and operators of the sector.
To represent the great Italian terroir there will be the bubbles of Franciacorta, the great white wines Friuli and Alto Adige and the native Vermentino, Lugana, Pigato, Soave. Among the red wines, very strong are the team of the Langhe of Barolo and Barbaresco, elegant interpretations of Sangiovese di Romagna and Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, the amazing Rossese di Dolceacqua and Lambrusco, the great reds of the south such as Etna, Aglianico del Vulture, Cannonau. In addition, of course, there will be a nice combination of "homemade" wines coming from the Tuscan terroir.
