On Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th November, at PiacenzaExpo, the fourth edition of the largest market of Italian craft wines will take place. The event is organized by FIVI (Independent Winemakers Italian Federation), in collaboration with the Fair of Piacenza.
The MARKET OF WINES OF INDEPENDENT WINEMAKERS is the perfect opportunity to get in touch with an important reality of our country, that of small farms, the CRAFTSMEN OF THE VINEYARD, men and women who live and work on the land to create products that represent them. Each of the more than 800 FIVI members directly follows each step from the vineyard to the bottle and takes care of a small corner of the heritage of everyone: a valley, a hill, a mountain slope or a plot of land in the plains, making it fruitful in the most respectful possible way and promoting it in the world along with the wines. For this reason, the FIVI logo, which characterizes the bottles of independent winemakers, is the symbol of wines that have come to life from the land and return life to the land, revealing its beauty glass after glass.
The Market of Wines is a joyous moment of encounter with the most diverse expressions of the Italian vineyard. There will be more than 250 independent winemakers, you can taste hundreds of wines of all kinds, most of which from native grape varieties, and you can buy them to present yourself worthily at year–end holidays. In addition to tasting tables, the program offers guided tasting and vintage tastings of some wine–myths of Italian craftsmanship. As usual, there will be the Artisans of food, to speckle the wide spaces of the fair with typical products such as cheese, Tuscan and Emilian salami, traditional breads, sweets.
Also this year, there will be active some important services, such as a shuttle bus to/from the train station of Piacenza and a courier for the delivery of the chosen wines directly to your home.
Spending a day at the FIVI Market of Wines means breathing the scent of the vineyard, to become passionate about life stories, to taste the best of Italy and take it home to share it with friends.
Because wine is a pleasure to live together.

€ 10 AIS, FISAR, ONAV, SLOW FOOD member who will show their card valid for the year 2014.
Children under 18 years do not pay any ticket, they can enter only if accompanied by an adult
