LA FARRA BRINGS TWO NEW EXPRESSIONS OF VALDOBBIADENE PROSECCO SUPERIORE DOCG TO VINITALY 2026

  • 11/04/2026

Founded in 1997 from the passion of brothers Adamaria and Innocente Nardi, La Farra is a family-run farm located in the heart of the Prosecco Hills of Conegliano Valdobbiadene, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2019.

With 25 hectares of directly cultivated vineyards, between Farra di Soligo, Pieve di Soligo, Follina and San Pietro di Feletto, the company embodies "heroic" viticulture , where every operation, from pruning to harvesting, is carried out strictly by hand on the steep hillsides.

A production philosophy that combines respect for tradition with the use of the best winemaking technologies, aiming to enhance the natural elegance, fragrance, and freshness of the local Glera grapes. Today, La Farra produces over 700,000 bottles a year, exported to Europe, the United States, Japan, and Australia, and is EQUALITAS and SQNPI certified for integrated production.

This year, La Farra presents two new interpretations of Conegliano Valdobbiadene at Vinitaly, best representing the diversity and richness of its territory.

The first is the Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Extra Dry "Altius" 2025, a 100% Glera sparkling wine named after the highest slopes of the hills of Farra di Soligo and San Pietro di Feletto. This wine is born from the encounter of two microzones and two complementary microclimates: the aromatic finesse of the limestone soils of Farra di Soligo marls with the structure and flavor of the clay-marl soils of San Pietro di Feletto. The result is a sparkling wine with a bright straw yellow color and very fine bubbles, a fresh and elegant bouquet with notes of apple and peach, and a savory flavor with a dry finish. Vinified by soft pressing and fermented using the Charmat method for approximately 25-30 days, it fully expresses the terroir's vocation for producing delicate, fruity wines.

The second is the Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Rive di Soligo Brut Millesimato 2025 , a more austere and territorial interpretation, a blend of 95% Glera and 5% Chardonnay. The Glera grapes come exclusively from the "Col Brià" vineyard, a jewel on the high Soligo hill at 280-340 meters above sea level, with a south-facing exposure and slopes of up to 60%. Straw yellow with light greenish reflections and a fine, persistent perlage, the nose offers notes of white-fleshed fruit, apple, pear, and subtle citrus notes. On the palate, it is fresh, harmonious, and characterized by excellent flavor, making it a perfect pairing with fish dishes or as a classy aperitif. The quality of the 2025 vintage gives this wine a distinct vintage identity, and it should be enjoyed within two years of harvest to appreciate its full freshness.

Vinitaly 2026 is an unmissable opportunity to preview these two wines directly from the Nardi brothers. We invite you to visit the La Farra stand, Hall 4 - Stand C2, to taste the "Altius" and the Rive di Soligo Brut Millesimato 2025, and immerse yourself in the authentic story of heroic viticulture born from the love for a unique terroir.
