La Douja del Monferrato - Successful wine and public success at Michelerio

La Douja del Monferrato pleases and fills up with visitors of all ages, including signature dinners signed by DoctorChef Federico Francesco Ferrero, about 700 tastings served, 400 tasting selections and appointments with the guests of the Barbera Talk .

Friday evening the story of Beppe “Simon” Simonato , protagonist of the Overland expeditions, documentaries broadcast in over 200 episodes. Narrated, between words and images, the enterprise that brought the trucks of the brigade to travel 183 days, 29 countries and covering 50 thousand kilometers. On Saturday, after having inaugurated the XIV National Aisla Day with the fanfare of the Taurinense Alpine Brigade , the evening continued with Federico Poggipollini , historical guitarist of Luciano Ligabue and prolific soloist. His project Canzoni stolate was the reason for a dialogue between anecdotes and songs that dragged the whole audience. And then on Sunday the tenor from Asti Enrico Iviglia , who hinting at some arias with his unmistakable voice, recounted his new book Donne all'opera. Dialogues with a tenor .

Collisions also arrives this week with two very eagerly awaited evenings : Friday 24 September, at 22.00, I meet the Africa Unite the Combo Session group , an appointment to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the historic Piedmontese band and the 40th anniversary of Bob Marley's death; the next day (Saturday 25) at 6.30 pm, meeting with the psychiatrist and writer Paolo Crepet and his book Beyond the Tempest , a journey of psychological and sociological reflections dedicated to those who do not resign themselves to the lockdown of the soul.

There is also space for an evening with the artists Luca Colombo, Lorenzo Poli and Valentina Tesio (Saturday 25 September, 9.30 pm) and a narration on the Isle of Man Tourist Trophy TT , with the story of over a century of legendary races ( Sunday 26 September, 9.00 pm). And again, space for the debate on wine, landscape and health with the President of the Consortium Filippo Mobrici, the journalist Paolo Massobrio and Professor Giorgio Calabrese (Friday 24 September, 6.30 pm) and reflections on the paleontological area of Asti and the Monferrato area , in synergy with the Paleontological Museum (Sunday 26 September, 7.00 pm), with a meeting entitled From the whales to the redemption of Monferrato .

• 7.00 pm - The talk of Barbera : From whales to the redemption of Monferrato. The Palazzo del Michelerio, seat of the museum, offers the starting point for a discussion on Monferrato in many forms, with the agronomist and former director of the Ipla Mario Palenzona, the architect and President of "Monferrato Excellence" Dino Barrera, the paleontologist Piero Damarco. Moderated by Beppe Rovera.
• 9.00 pm - Barbera talks : Tourist Trophy - Isle of Man, over a century of legendary racing . Pier Giuseppe Ortalda, president of TT Supportes Italy , and responsible for the participating Italian riders on behalf of the infrastructure department of the Isle of Man government, tells in a passionate and engaging way, through projections, emotions and anecdotes, a legendary motorcycle race . The intensely rarefied rural environment of the Isle of Man which hosts a world-class event, represents a perfect combination with Monferrato and its characteristics, the land where the TT Supporter Italy is based.

During the Douja d'Or days, the Territorial Paleontological Museum of Asti, which is located in the Palazzo del Michelerio, will observe the following extraordinary openings: Friday and Saturday from 20.00 to 23.00; Sunday from 20.00 to 22.30.
