Wines as a vehicle of the cultures of the territory. With this approach, highlighting the typicalities to enhance them even from the tourism point of view, the Italian Chamber of Commerce for France in Marseille (CCIFM) proposed to some producers of Italian wines a day of business meetings to be held on Monday, 25 November 2013, aboard the ship "Piana".
The event is held in cooperation with the shipping company. "La Méridionale", to which the ship belongs and consolidates inter alia a bond that is producing excellent results in the promotion of regional food and wine.
The event is designed to promote the meeting between French producers and buyers of the Great South of France:
25 November are therefore expected aboard the "Piana" six companies, two of which from Piedmont:
"Araldica Castelvero" from the province of Asti and
"La Scolca" from the province of Alessandria. Will be represented, then, two companies of the Veneto region:
"Gerardo Cesari" from the province of Verona and the "Botter Carlo & C." winery from the province of Venice. Finally a company of Liguria,
"Punta Crena" from the province of Savona, and a Tuscan company,
"La Cura", from the province of Grosseto.
A view that offers and summarizes part of the wine heritage of north–central Italy. In effect, there will be Barbera and Moscato d’Asti, Barolo, Dolcetto and Nebbiolo delle Langhe, Vermentino, Merlot planted profitably in the Tuscan Maremma, Bardolino, Valpolicella, Pinot gris, Amarone and finally Prosecco, which is becoming very successful for the youngest generation.
The wines will be presented by a French sommelier who will lead the tasting for the operators present: therefore, B&B meetings will take place.
