Contemporaneity, promotion, territoriality are the values that guide the path of the Custoza DOC and its producers towards the future of the symbolic wine of the hills of Verona. Vinitaly will be an opportunity for operators and wine lovers to approach this wine for the first time, deepen it or consolidate a loyalty built over time.

Both at the fair, where it presents itself with a completely renovated space ( Pav. 4 stand G7 ), and through events in the city, the Consortium has scheduled a busy calendar of meetings and tastings during all the days of the event. The first opportunity to meet will be, on Friday 31 March as part of the Vinitaly and The City event, the Wine Talk “Custoza DOC – the white of the Veronese” (Cortile Mercato Vecchio, 6.15 pm) hosted by Sissi Baratella. The evening continues with “Custoza On the City”, the event born from the idea of combining the pleasure of tasting with that of partying, hosted by AMEN Panoramic Bar&Food in Verona (starting at 8.30pm).

Sunday 2 April will mark the beginning of the appointments dedicated to operators, with a tasting dedicated to buyers from Northern Europe. There will also be appointments dedicated to the sector press, such as the masterclass led by Marco Sabellico (Gambero Rosso) on Monday 3 April at 11.00, which will be followed by a taste of the traditional tortellini from Valeggio sul Mincio, and off appointments with the second Wine Talk " Custoza DOC – Of morainic hills in Lake Garda” (Cortile Mercato Vecchio, 8.30 pm)

On Tuesday 4 April, the Consortium will welcome a delegation of buyers from the United Kingdom for a tasting led by Eros Teboni, World Best Sommelier 2018. On the same day, special guests at the stand will be Edoardo Franco and Mattia Tagetto from MasterChef 12.

Mineral, fresh and generous, Custoza is the mirror of its territory : the Consortium's mission is to champion its values and its beauties, promoting initiatives and campaigns in favor of a synergy between all the actors who live and make the area live Custoza. A fair with such a strong echo as Vinitaly is the right ally to convey all of this.
