The heart of the Turin Wine Exhibition during the weekend of Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 March , totaled more than 7400 visitors reaching sold out before the doors opened. Even Monday 6 March, the B2B day dedicated to sector operators, counted the participation of over 1000 operators including local companies, buyers, wine bars and restaurateurs . Engagement on social media was very high with over 5 million people reached thanks to the synergy with influencers, bloggers and journalists who love wine and the city of Turin. A great event that has been able to animate the symbolic places of Turin by making known to the general public the vast wine-growing heritage of Piedmont, in a tribute to the land and to the wine-growing activity between history and innovation.
Very high participation in WOUSE , the wine-house of the Salone, which saw more than 100 content creators, journalists, and illustrious players in the world of wine alternating in a program of 18 appointments, including debates, tastings and moments of in-depth analysis, recording the sold out in all events.
All seats sold out, often a week in advance, in the evenings involving taverns and restaurants, such as the Notte Rossa Barbera and the 100 Days in collaboration, respectively, with FEA and EDT Editore.
Over 30 Masterclasses hosted some of the most important Italian wineries and their excellence.
The event is now looking to the next edition and makes an appointment for the public in February 2024 .
Moments of conviviality, study and research in the conferences held at Palazzo Birago, headquarters of the Turin Chamber of Commerce. There was talk of tourism linked to the world of wine and the study on the effects of climate change in viticulture was presented, to reflect both on the consequences of environmental changes and on crop adaptation strategies, through the direct involvement of sector operators. The three-year study is promoted and supported by the Turin Chamber of Commerce and carried out in the field by CIA Agricoltori delle Alpi, in collaboration with the Chemical Laboratory of the Turin Chamber of Commerce (project leader), the Caluso Regional Enoteca, Arpa Piemonte , Aiab Piemonte and the University of Turin.
Great participation of the public, also for the initiative organized by the Department of Management of the University of Turin through 500 questionnaires filled out by the public at the Cavallerizza Reale, for an analysis of the trends in wine tourism in the province of Turin.
Among the significant moments the preview reopening for the public of the garden of Palazzo Cisterna by the Metropolitan City of Turin, which will officially open its doors on Friday 24 March 2023 . A possible result thanks to the involvement of Palazzo Birago & Palazzo Cisterna, united in a single event and through a single common thread .

" We are very satisfied with this first edition of the Show, which has seen us involved both in the promotion of Turin wine, with the presence of over 60 local producers, three protection consortia and the Regional Enoteca of wines of the province of Turin, and in the "welcome of the public inside Palazzo Birago where, during the 12 scheduled Masterclasses, we recorded over 200 visits. The turnout at the conferences on Monday was also excellent, where wine tourism and the impact of climate change on viticulture were discussed - he explains Dario Gallina , President of the Turin Chamber of Commerce – In general, the event gathered a very high presence of a young, interested and curious public who, also thanks to events like this one, are learning to drink consciously and to get to know the enormous cultural, landscape and entrepreneurial heritage that lies behind every bottle ".
Patrizio Anisio, Director of the Turin Wine Show , adds: "We are really very happy for this first edition of the Turin Wine Show. We are grateful to the many Piedmontese wineries, the regional wine shops and the consortia from all over Piedmont who believed in the importance of a wine show in Turin.
