Fiera dei Vini launches the 2026-2027 Restaurant Menu 28

Piacenza Expo launches the Fiera dei Vini Restaurant Menu , a biennial project aimed at establishments that showcase Italian wine through their cuisine, wine lists, and regional stories. The initiative will accompany the fourth edition of the market fair , scheduled for Saturday, November 14th to Monday, November 16th, 2026 , at Piacenza Expo. It comes amidst the event's growth: just over two months after the registration campaign opened, over 170 businesses have already confirmed their participation, a 15% increase compared to the same period in 2025.

The Charter aims to establish a national network of restaurants that will act as ambassadors for the Wine Fair throughout the year, extending the relationship between wineries, restaurants, and the public beyond the three days of the event. The venues will be selected by the event's technical committee based on the quality of their hospitality, the curation of their wine lists, and their ability to represent Italian wine culture within their food and wine offerings.

Participating businesses will be able to use the official brand, receive communication materials, access dedicated tools to engage their customers, be present on the event's channels and promoted at other trade fairs organized by Piacenza Expo. There will also be free invitations to the Monday dedicated to the HoReCa channel, during which the official inauguration of the Restaurant Charter will be held, discount coupons for the purchase of Fair tickets, reserved services at the event, and priority involvement in initiatives related to the project. The launch of the Charter is part of the Wine Fair 's ongoing consolidation as a platform for producers, operators, restaurants, and enthusiasts to meet . Of the companies already confirmed for 2026, approximately 60% offer wine tourism-related activities, and over a third operate organically. Forty percent of the producers present at the last edition have already confirmed their participation. Among the regions experiencing the greatest growth is Trentino, Italy's third-largest region in terms of registrations, with a 70% increase over the previous year.

"We're working to build an increasingly recognizable event, capable of combining direct relationships with producers, a culture of hospitality, and local experience," explains Gregorio Amoretti , event manager. "Wine tourism is now one of the most effective tools for promoting local areas: we want the Wine Fair to also become a meeting place for wineries, travelers, restaurateurs, and new forms of promotion."

Alongside the wineries, Fiera dei Vini will also host a selection of exhibitors specializing in services and products for the sector and catering, providing new visibility tools to make participation in the event more effective.

The 2026 program also strengthens the work of institutional and professional networks . The patronage of the National Association of Wine Cities has been confirmed, continuing the wine tourism promotion project launched in previous editions, including through new editorial tools such as the Fiera dei Vini Magazine . The event has also received the support of ASSP – Swiss Association of Professional Sommeliers , opening up a more structured dialogue with associations, visitors, and exhibitors from Italian-speaking Switzerland and neighboring countries, and of Assoenologi , the national trade organization of wine sector technicians.
