The event which promotes and disseminates the knowledge of Ruchè is back!
The Municipality of Castagnole Monferrato, in agreement with the Go Wine Association, promotes the seventh edition of Festa del Ruchà, scheduled for Saturday May 10th and Sunday 11th, 2014, at La Mercantile Estate.
Two days of celebration and confrontation in which the Ruchè will be the sole protagonist of a series of major tastings; on the evening of Saturday and on the day of Sunday, after moments of study reserved for journalists, operators and wine lovers (Sunday, May 11th), the tasting counter will open, with the wineries that will meet the public within the beautiful rooms of the La Mercantile Estate.
Festa del Ruchè will take place in Castagnole Monferrato, country of origin which gives its name to the designation. However, manufacturers from all seven municipalities that fall within the product specification will participate: Castagnole Monferrato, Grana, Montemagno, Portacomaro, Refrancore, Scurzolengo and Viarigi.
The program
Here are times and events of the two days in Castagnole Monferrato:
Saturday, May 10th (La Mercantile Estate):
5:30 p.m.: inaugural conference and delivery of the Vin DiVino Prize.
6:30 p.m. – Midnight: Opening of the tasting tables, party with the producers; gastronomic point by restaurants and Proloco of Castagnole Monferrato; wine shop (selling bottles); musical entertainment with the "Made in jail Trio".
Sunday, May 11th (La Mercantile Estate):
10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.: wine tasting reserved for professionals (owners of restaurants, wine shops and wine bars, wine lovers).
12:00 a.m.: gastronomic point by restaurants and Proloco of Castagnole Monferrato.
10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.: opening of the tasting tables, party with the producers, wine shop (selling bottles), musical entertainment by the "La Monfrinota" band.
In the morning: walk in the vineyards.
Cost of the tasting:
€ 10 – € 8 Reduction for members of Go Wine and industry associations.
