At the fair, the company will celebrate 30 years of Freschello , one of the most iconic and popular wines in Italian large-scale retail trade, which continues to win over new generations of consumers thanks to its freshness and versatility. Furthermore, as a sign of the premiumization that has taken place in recent decades, it will present the new line “ The History of Gio , ” a tribute to founder Giovanni Cielo, consisting of Bianco di Gio, Nero di Gio, and Oro di Gio , wines designed to enhance the family history with a contemporary style. Participation at Vinitaly will also be an opportunity to reaffirm Cielo e Terra's identity as a B Corp and Benefit Corporation , committed to projects of solidarity, environmental sustainability, and the promotion of the local area.

Cielo e Terra's trade fair season includes Vinitaly, where between April 12 and 15, 2026, you can meet the company's owners and management at Stand E6 in Hall 5. This year's annual Verona event will be an opportunity to present and share two experiences that perfectly capture Cielo e Terra's contemporary spirit: the ability to successfully interpret new consumer trends and the celebration of its family history.
Cielo e Terra wants to celebrate its roots, showcasing one of its most extraordinary success stories at Vinitaly: the Freschello label, the wine that has been accompanying generations of consumers for thirty years. The redesigned Bianco and Rosé Extra Dry sparkling wine lines (10.5% ABV) will be presented at the fair: the bottle has been updated with a celebratory element dedicated to 30 years of Freschello, represented by an interactive medal integrated into the design, which allows consumers to access a thank you video from the company.
Created in the 1990s with the aim of offering a light, distinctive, and certainly forward-thinking wine for its time, Freschello has over time become a true phenomenon in Italian large-scale retail trade. Today, it remains the best-selling wine in national large-scale retail trade (Circana 2025 data, 750 ml bottle category), thanks to a winning formula that combines freshness, lightness, and great versatility.
