The Project

Cibio is the specialized fair dedicated to quality food with respect to typical products of the Italian regions and an area dedicated only to organic products.

To promote food and wine quality, to introduce agriculture to the citizens, to enter into a relationship farmers and consumers ...
To reaffirm the traditions of our land, promoting and enhancing the regional agricultural products, to enjoy a good quality of life and to face better the international competition, favoring the knowledge of local production with the exhibition of natural, organic and eco-friendly craft products...
The love and respect of nature, the awareness of adults and children to organic farming and quality, the importance of a genuine nutrition


The Program

The event has national character and is aimed both to professionals in the wine and food industry to the private consumer. You will then taste and purchase products searched and selected in the frame of quality production.

The Fair provides a program of tastings of wines, cured by the organization together with the producers and specialized associations of category and industry specialists.

The location

The Congress Centre Magazzini del Cotone of Genoa is one of the most prestigious and functional places for a targeted event.

The place is located within the Old Port of Genoa, which includes all the services and attractions such as the Aquarium, the Museum of the Sea, the multiplex Space, the Touristic Port, The Bolla of Renzo Piano, the pool, the Piazza delle Feste and countless shopping and accommodation facilities such as restaurants, hotels, bars, pubs, shops, etc. ..

The Contents

In addition to the presence of producers with their exhibition stands, which will offer bread, pasta, honey, olive oil, wine, cheese, etc ... Cibio covers the following topics:
- Wine and food products and environmental awareness; wine routes, events, farm ... All pointing to a development of the area;
- The culture of food, demonstrations, exhibitions and meetings;
- Tastings dedicated to particular products with tastings and presentations to the public, professionals and press, by individual producers and experts.

The Exhibition Structure
The dislocation of the exhibition modules takes place on the ground floor entrance module 8 on three different exhibition halls

Services
- The fair structure of Magazzini del Cotone Congress Centre is located in the Old Port and is equipped with all the services, and the outdoor area is equipped with parking.

Times and Procedures
The Fair takes place over two whole days, on Saturday and Sunday, and in part on Friday. Precisely, it will take place on 3-4-5 May 2013
Opening to the public: Friday 15:00 to 20:00 - Saturday and Sunday: 10.00 to 20.00
Admission is free
