Castagner celebrates its first 30 years at Vinitaly

It's a special Vinitaly for Distilleria Castagner, which is kicking off its 30th anniversary celebrations at the Verona fair. To do so in style, on Sunday, April 12th, at 2:30 PM , Castagner will celebrate by opening the first bottle of its GRAPPA RISERVA 30 , a cuvée that captures the distillery's first five vintages, a blend of different grape varieties to create a unique grappa, enhanced by long aging. The tasting for guests of the distillery will be led by master distiller Roberto Castagner and paired with Domori chocolate, as described by Riccardo Illy. A second tasting for buyers and trade members is scheduled for Monday the 13th, also at 2:30 PM.

The Treviso-based distillery's renovated stand reflects not only its long history but also its vision for the future of the sector: the bar counter dedicated to mixology has been expanded, where it will be possible to taste Castagner's other new product for 2026 every day: Aperitivo Casta , an infusion of citrus and botanicals at just 9% ABV, to be mixed with Prosecco and soda water for the Spritz Casta (5 ice cubes, 50cl Aperitivo Casta, 50cl Prosecco, 25cl soda water, a slice of orange), a lighter yet still extremely enjoyable spritz. Along with Negroni Casta, these represent Castagner's two offerings for its "Gentle Mixology" : 9% ABV is the perfect strength to meet the needs of those who are more careful about their alcohol and sugar intake, but still want the pleasantness that makes an alcoholic cocktail so delicious.

On Tuesday the 13th and Wednesday the 14th , several "guest" bartenders (primarily those from the Cortina hotels that took part in the Cortina Cocktail Competition last December) will take turns at the bar, coordinated by bartender Samuele Ambrosi, to create a drink list based on products from the mixology line, in particular bitters and vermouth.

Throughout Vinitaly, it will obviously be possible to taste all of the Distillery's products at the stand, from the Fuoriclasse line dedicated to the Ho.Re.Ca. sector to the best-selling "Grappa Barrique di Ciliegio," from the Prosecco ICE grappa to the Zero Alcool offering with the non-alcoholic aperitif Robì and the Leon Zero amaro.
