Cantina di Venosa at the Merano WineFestival - 4, 5 and 6 November

Cantina di Venosa, the only wine cooperative in Basilicata and among the most important in southern Italy, will be present with 4 wines for tasting awarded at The Wine Hunter Award:

• 2 Gold Medal labels: the Carato Venusio Aglianico del Vulture Superiore Docg 2017 and the Verbo Basilicata Bianco Malvasia Igt 2022;
• 2 Medaglia Rossa labels, the Tansillo Rosato Classico Brut nature 2020 and the Verbo Aglianico del Vulture Classico Dop 2021.

On the slopes of Vulture, from soils of volcanic origin, the wines of Cantina di Venosa are born, which has been awarded for years in the main international wine competitions. A winery with 350 members and 800 hectares of vineyards planted with Aglianico, Malvasia di Basilicata, Moscato Bianco and Merlot; a modern winery, rooted in the territory, attentive to innovation, made up of over 50% young people, heirs of a generation of small winemakers who renew themselves and update themselves with ideas, energy, skills, visions. Overall it produces 2 million bottles, out of a potential of 5 million. There are 21 labels, mostly Aglianico del Vulture, both Doc and Docg.
