ON 2nd JUNE THE WINE EXPERIENCE OF AIS VENETO DEDICATED TO THE WORLD OF SPARKLING WINES

Classic Method, Charmat, Colfondo and wines in the world: over 200 wines for tasting at Villa San Biagio in Mason Vicentino. Two author tastings

Tuesday, 2nd June 2015, in Villa San Biagio of Mason Vicentino "Bollicine a Marostica" ("Bubbles in Marostica") is held again. It is the fourth edition of the event organized by AIS Veneto, delegation of Vicenza, which from this year is included in the Wine Experience cycle. Over 200 labels available in a tasting table which will see the direct presence of the producers. Four are the thematic areas on which the event will be divided: the Italian classic method, from Trento DOC to Franciacorta, through Oltrepò Pavese and the native Durello, Erbaluce di Caluso and many others; Charmat with Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG Prosecco Superiore, Asolo DOCG Prosecco Superiore and also sparkling wines of smaller and emerging territories.

Then, re–fermented wines in bottles, or colfondo, which lately are attracting much interest. Finally, a space dedicated to the great bubbles in the world, with a selection of Champagne and French Cremant, Spanish Cava and wines from Germany. Two are the guided tastings in the program, with limited and available on request places.

At 3:00 p.m. Riserva Moretti Vs Anna Maria Clementi: an unprecedented challenge between two giants of Franciacorta, each represented by three vintages.

At 5:00 p.m. Champagne Millesimo 2002 is scheduled: a horizontal tasting of six major Champagne of a memorable year.

Throughout the day you can taste a selection of local products, including ?Bacalà alla Vicentina? with Polenta, prepared by the Restaurateurs of Bacalà and Asiago cheese, thanks to the presence of the Consortium for the Protection of Asiago DOP Cheese.

The entertainment will be provided by a performance by the Marostica standard–bearers group.
