Between Champagne and contemporary lightness: the dual soul of Cantina Tollo at Vinitaly with Le Mesnil and TO be

A partnership of excellence between Abruzzo and one of the world's most renowned wine-growing regions: Cantina Tollo Group is the exclusive distributor in Italy of Champagne Le Mesnil , a cooperative from Mesnil-Sur-Oger founded in 1937. Classified as 100% Grand Cru, the members' vineyards are located in the heart of the prestigious Côte des Blancs, so named for its main grape variety, Chardonnay. The Tollo (Chieti) cooperative shares the same philosophy with the French company: high-quality production, a prestigious history, and an innovative spirit that looks to the future. Cantina Tollo distributes three Champagne Le Mesnil wines, and they will be available for tasting during Vinitaly , taking place from April 12th to 15th at the company's stand at Veronafiere. These are Le Mesnil Brut SA , Le Mesnil Extra Brut SA, and Le Mesnil – Cœur de Mesnil 2012 , interpretations that fully capture the characteristics of a unique terroir. The three Champagnes will be available in the HoReCa channel starting in April.

In addition to the three Le Mesnil wines, Cantina Tollo will also present its TO be line at Vinitaly : TO is short for Tollo, while be means to be, to decide, to choose. The new line is the contemporary voice of the Abruzzo-based group and consists of two wines, TO be Fresh Terre d'Abruzzo IGP , a chilled red wine, and TO be Light Bianco , a naturally low-alcohol wine, designed to meet the needs of the international market and appeal to younger consumers. Finally, Cantina Tollo's signature wines, a pure expression of the Abruzzo region, will be available for tasting: Hedòs Rosato Terre d'Abruzzo IGP and Hedòs Bianco Terre d'Abruzzo IGP; and Mo' and Cagiòlo Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Riserva.
