"Benvenuto Brunello" is the event dedicated to those who do not want to miss the opportunity to drink a glass of Brunello di Montalcino, discovering the new entrants to the market in 2015, tasting the most representative and typical Italian delicacies, the event on stage from 20th to 23rd February.
In addition to the Annata 2010, Riserva 2009 and Rosso di Montalcino 2013, you can also taste many other products coming in Montalcino with the main sponsors of the preview. And, then, every visitor will have the chance to taste Dop Tuscan Ham, with its flavorful and decided taste, combined with one of the most famous Tuscan wines in the world, thanks to the partnership with the Tuscan Ham Consortium that will sponsor the event through the distribution of the product that will be served to the guests, to the producers and to those who will intervene at the event.
Here is what you will find at "Benvenuto Brunello". After the ribbon cutting, on Friday, 20th February, for Saturday, 21st February at 11 a.m. at the Church of Sant’Agostino in Montalcino the award of the Leccio d’Oro 2015 prize is expected, the 2014 harvest will be presented, the proclamation of the awarded stars and the laying of the celebratory panel of the vintage will take place. Sunday 22nd and Monday 23rd, however, will be days dedicated for industry operators.
