An enjoyable and stimulating event where fans and connoisseurs can find a place where they can taste and appreciate asparagus, the shoot symbol of spring in many Italian regions. Visitors can stroll among the stalls and taste and buy the asparagus and other products brought by the producers from different regions of Italy.
A journey in flavors where the asparagus is paired with cheese, olive oil, pasta and rice, lake fish and seafood, meat, sausages, ice cream and wine, after which you can go proud of Italian excellence that deserve to be enhanced. There are also the producers of the Slow Food Presidia and Food Communities that are available for visitors to discover the products protected by Slow Food. A path where every step is a story, each stop a taste, every encounter an emotion.
The Path of Flavours is divided into four thematic islands:
Market of the Ground Area: 12 charming wooden houses welcome products from various regions with the opportunity of tasting asparagus, olive oil, wine, pasta, rice and meats: the temple of Italian excellence.
Kitchen in View Area: a space dedicated to gastronomy with single seats of open kitchen where the chefs serve their dishes in plain view and explain them to visitors.
Slow Food Area: an area where culinary and cultural producers which are part of the Slow Food Presidia and Food Communities are available for visitors to make them discover their products. Short workshops on themes dear to Slow Food, taste workshops, publications of Slow Food Editore and Slow Food “piggy banks” to raise funds on behalf of “Ten Thousand Gardens in Africa”.
Wines Area: the place that welcomes the wines from different regions with the opportunity of tasting by the glass.
