ARTIGIANI DEL VINO

Put together 50 producers from different Italian regions (with a section dedicated to some French producers of natural wine and champagne), add their stories and their wine, the charming scenery of the Baths of Caracalla and a group of researchers who will meet during the opening conference to plan the creation of a specification for natural wines, this and much more is ARTIGIANI DEL VINO, the fair dedicated to Natural Wines to be held in Rome on 7th and 8th November.


In this tasting open to the public there will be present some founders of the movement that in the last decade have led to the definition of natural and artisanal wines. Historic companies such as La Biancara of Angiolino Maule, Collecapretta, Del Prete company of Natalino Del Prete but also other young companies who bear witness to the growing commitment to natural wines like Cantina Ribelà winery that passionately is giving new life to historic vineyards, abused by industrial production, for the production of a well–known wine like Frascati. Producers looking for the expression of the territory in wine avoiding the use of oenological practices and the use of chemicals. The natural wines aspire to a more rigorous discipline than those existing for organic and biodynamic. A disciplinary that seeks its own way and for which the motto "nothing added" is the way. There will be food tastings, an added value because there is nothing better than a good wine to match a great dish, always in a sustainable way. On 7th November, during the opening, the conference: Looking for a designation: a research project for the definition and promotion of natural wine seizing the funding opportunities given by the EU. Will intervene: VinNatur Association with its Chairman Angiolino Maule, the ES–COM Agency for European Integration and Dr. Stefano Zaninotti (VitaNova agronomist).

The objective is to achieve together with the creation of a designation for natural wines, supported by scientific criteria. (Saturday, 7th November 2015, at 12:00 a.m.)
