A new chapter opens for the Locanda del Pompiere , a historic restaurant in the center of Verona, which rewrites its identity thanks to a young team and a fresh, elegant gastronomic vision that is deeply respectful of the raw materials. A place where the sea meets the city, in a measured balance between tradition and contemporaneity.

Overlooking the private Piazzetta Antonio Tirabosco , a few steps from Piazza delle Erbe but far from the frenzy of the center, the Locanda has reopened after a careful restyling intervention, keeping its soul intact but with a renewed look. At the helm of the project is Marco D'Andrea , a Veronese owner with a strong vocation for hospitality, supported in the dining room by Daniele Dall'Ora , who offers authentic, modern and free from excess seafood cuisine.

The internal room welcomes guests in intimate and elegant spaces , where beamed ceilings and essential furnishings define a warm and refined aesthetic. Outside, the internal courtyard of the ancient building transforms into a private terrace, ideal for a slow lunch or a quiet dinner. The atmosphere is that of a restaurant that knows how to welcome without ostentation, where every detail contributes to creating a sense of balance and measure.

At Locanda del Pompiere, hospitality is as central as the cuisine. " Our goal is to offer the freshest seafood possible, with the usual Veronese welcome," says Marco D'Andrea. A vision also shared by Dall'Ora, who speaks of an Italian cuisine that respects its roots but never stops evolving: "We respect tradition while looking to the future, with modern techniques and recipes that speak Italian."

The gastronomic proposal is built around the freshness of the fish , which arrives every morning from the Lagoon and the Adriatic coast . The menu changes with the rhythm of the sea, on the menu, raw fish dishes, salt-cooked dishes to share and first courses that play on the balance between sea and land. No excess, just a precise hand and absolute respect for the raw material.

Great attention is also paid to wine, with over 200 labels selected by the team in collaboration with the Tommasi family . A journey that crosses all of Italy, from Alto Adige to Sicily, with openings to France and a selection of signature bubbles.

The menu opens with ideal proposals for an aperitif and reaches up to bottles for connoisseurs, always maintaining an excellent quality-price ratio .

Today, Locanda del Pompiere is a reference point for those seeking quality cuisine in the heart of the city, in a place where elegance and sobriety meet, and the pleasure of the table blends with the pleasure of feeling welcomed.
