EXCELLENCES BELLS ACQUIRES OBICÀ MOZZARELLA BAR TO SPREAD THE CULTURE OF QUALITY ITALIAN FOOD IN ITALY AND IN THE WORLD

The Obicà property returns to Italy. The President of Excellence Campane, Scudieri: "We will be an example of good Italian food in the world". All restaurants will have an Obicà sign. The Excellence Campane store in via Brin in Naples remains a reference hub for Campania products.

The Scudieri family, through Excellence Campane , acquires Obicà Mozzarella Bar from the UK Neo Investment Partners fund.

Excellence Campane, a food and wine center with stores in Naples, Milan and Rome, joins Obicà, the first Mozzarella Bar in the world founded in 2004 in Rome, which has nineteen restaurants in the world, eight in Italy and eleven abroad, of which three in the UK, two in the US and, as a franchise, six in Japan.

The acquisition of Obicà (which in the Neapolitan dialect means "Here it is!") Is part of the path started by the Scudieri family with the creation in 2014 of the Excellence Campane brand, which shares with Obicà the strong attention for quality products and the same objective: to spread the culture of good Italian food in the world, in which elements such as typicality, culture and tradition are combined with the concepts of sustainability, accessibility, economy.

The ownership of Obicà thus returns to Italy, thanks to the Scudieri family which invests in a solid and successful brand, known internationally, to consolidate its presence in Italy and abroad and promote its further expansion.

The Excellence Campane store in Naples, in via Brin, keeps the name of the food and wine center and will represent the reference hub for the selection, production and distribution of Campania products both towards Obicà branded restaurants and towards other stores of Excellence Campane, which will receive the Obicà banner.

The cuisine of Obicà, which has always been based on high quality ingredients and a careful selection process of raw materials, thus expands its supplier base with the possibility of selecting the best products from Campania directly at home, combining them with other Italian excellences that have always characterized its gastronomic proposal and have ensured its success over the years not only in Italy, but also in important international cities such as London, New York and Tokyo.

Thanks to the partnership with Obicà, the internationalization process of Excellence Campane will see quality Italian cuisine consolidated in Europe and in the world.
