VISITS, TASTINGS AND EXPERIENCES: 47 UMBRIAN CELLARS ARE JOINING CANTINE APERTE 2024

Guided tours of the cellar, wine tastings paired with local products, but also cycling excursions, musical entertainment and even entertainment for the little ones: Umbria is also taking part in Cantine Aperte this year , with 47 wineries that are members of the Movimento Turismo del Vino Umbria which on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th May will join the initiative throughout the region. Now in its thirty-first edition, the annual event of the Wine Tourism Movement accompanies wine tourists and enthusiasts to discover the territories and its producers. Starting from its historic slogan " See what you drink ", Cantine Aperte promotes tasting not only as a gustatory experience, but also as a conscious activity that contributes to responsible and satisfying consumption, in the name of quality, capable of reflecting cultural identity of a territorial community. "We think of this event as a moment in which it is possible to spread the culture of wine, of quality drinking in contact with the production area", underlines the President of Movimento Turismo del Vino Umbria Giovanni Dubini .
