Seven evenings of exquisite tastings and signature dinners. In Piazza di Siena, top chefs, master pizza makers, and wineries from all over Italy meet. The exquisite experiences continue with evenings curated by Anima Restaurant and the finest champagnes from the Moët Hennessy Italia group.
Rome is gearing up for the Vinòforum evenings: the capital's iconic food and wine event is ready to offer a week of tastings, haute cuisine, culture, and insights into Italy's finest. Seven evenings in the company of leading names in national restaurants and ambassadors of local cuisine, from signature dinners to fine wines from across the country.
3,200 labels from 800 wineries will be at the heart of the tasting menu of this 22nd edition , which will enliven the magnificent spaces of Piazza di Siena .
Top-tier producers and names will be hosted in one of Rome's most prestigious venues: the 16,000-square-meter venue in the heart of Villa Borghese will be a gathering place for enthusiasts, the press, and industry professionals from September 8th to 14th to learn about, experience, and celebrate Italian food and wine.
" Being in one of the city's most iconic locations is both a privilege and a great responsibility, which we have accepted with respect and gratitude, " emphasizes Emiliano De Venuti, organizer and CEO of Vinòforum. " Piazza di Siena is a precious asset, both for its history and priceless beauty, and for its collective importance to the entire city of Rome. It is precisely this value that makes it the ideal setting for a cultural and educational event like ours. In terms of organization, we are meticulously adhering to all the necessary measures to ensure proper management of the park. Protecting and enhancing our city's assets is our mission and an ongoing commitment: as citizens and ambassadors of our region, we want our activities to be worthy of Rome and the entire community."
Also in this edition, The Night Dinner dinners will be created in collaboration with major partners such as Pastificio La Molisana and Dalle Vigne, a national distribution network of excellence that has selected the great wine labels paired with each dish.
The format of each dinner will be even more unique, combining haute cuisine with cinematic art. The chefs have created a tasting menu inspired by their favorite films, leading guests through cult scenes and soundtracks, for an even more immersive dining experience.
Seven protagonists, one for each evening, will take visitors on this unique culinary journey. The event kicks off on Monday, September 8th with Alfonso Crisci of Ristorante Oltremare in Maiori, offering a grand tribute to Mediterranean cuisine, along with the dramatic comedy "Quanto Basta." On Tuesday, September 9th, Koji Nakai of Ristorante Nakai in Rome will bring the aromas, techniques, and essence of Japanese cuisine to the heart of the capital, amid scenes from "Mangiare bere uomo donna." Wednesday, September 10th will feature Paolo Gramaglia of Ristorante President in Pompei, one of the most prominent figures in Campania's culinary scene, who will present a menu blending tradition and sophisticated flavors, inspired by "Gladiator." The program continues on Thursday, September 11th with Christian Belli of Affinity Kitchen & Alchemy Restaurant, showcasing a cuisine that reinvents Italian tradition by connecting with global flavors and cultures, accompanied by scenes from "Il sapore della felicità." Friday the 12th will feature Stefano Bartolucci of the RossoDiVino restaurant in Valmontone, with a menu showcasing Mediterranean products, top-quality ingredients, and Roman flavors, along with one of the classics of Italian comedy, "Febbre da Cavallo." This will be followed on Saturday the 13th by Ciro Scamardella of the Pipero restaurant, with a culinary journey showcasing traditional recipes with a contemporary twist, based on scenes from "The Great Beauty." Rounding out this array of big names is Anastasia Paris of Futura Ristorante , who, on Sunday the 14th, will bring to Vinòforum a signature menu, rich in technique and inventiveness, inspired by the adventures of one of the most disturbing villains in cinematic history, "Hannibal."
"What we're about to experience will be a special edition of Vinòforum, a true food and wine experience in a new location, Piazza di Siena in Villa Borghese in Rome," says Rossella Ferro, marketing director of the La Molisana pasta factory . "It's an event we're proud to host every year with renewed enthusiasm. We believe in the format, and for 2025 we've chosen to bring our Michelin-starred chef ambassadors, confident they'll deliver a truly gastronomic experience."
At Vinòforum, flavor reigns supreme: the premium edition at Piazza di Siena also marks the launch of a partnership with Anima Restaurant, part of The Rome EDITION, which will have its own space throughout the event. This unique dining area, accessible to all and bookable even from outside, offers culinary delights by chef Antonio Gentile , who boasts extensive high-end experience both in Italy and abroad. Respect for the finest ingredients, a Campanian soul, and Roman tradition will be the key ingredients of Anima's offerings, enhanced by pairings with Dom Pérignon, Krug, Veuve Clicquot, Moët & Chandon, and Ruinart champagnes, for a highly appealing, simple, and convivial culinary experience, in perfect Vinòforum style.
The Moët Hennessy Italia group, one of the historic partners of Vinòforum, will also design the VIP Lounge of the event, a space dedicated to public relations and which for the first time, in addition to Champagne, will present the world of Rosé de Provence , whose intriguing oenological interpretation is entrusted to the three iconic Maisons: Château D'Esclans, Minuty and Château Galoupet , capable of enclosing in the glass the peculiarities of a unique terroir, where the marine influence, the richness of the soil and the strength of the wind give the wines a distinctive character and identity.
