Vinetia – Guide to Veneto Wines 2026

AIS – Italian Sommelier Association of Veneto presents the twelfth edition of Vinetia – Guide to Veneto Wines , an online portal dedicated to the region’s excellent wines, available on the website: www.vinetia.it .

The event will open with a discussion dedicated to the Veneto vineyards of yesterday and today , a moment of discussion on the transformations of wine in our region. Together with experts Raffaele Cavalli (Vice President of the International Library "La Vigna") and Emanuela Bincoletto (President of the Veneto Section of the Movimento Turismo Vino), we will explore topics ranging from the evolution of viticulture to the challenges of climate change, all the way to the valorization of the territory and the regional food and wine heritage.

Following this, the official presentation of the 2026 Guide and the announcement of the seven winners of the Vinetia Award – Best Wine of Veneto , divided into the categories of Charmat Method sparkling wine, Classic Method sparkling wine, white wine, rosé wine, red wine, red wine for aging, and sweet wine. The winners will be chosen by a jury of 40 professionals – sommeliers, restaurateurs, and journalists – who, during a blind tasting panel, will evaluate the 21 finalists, three for each category.

Alongside the Vinetia Award , the Guide's highest recognition, the Rialto Award will also be awarded, dedicated to the other 14 finalist wines that stood out for their quality and character, and the special press and restaurant awards , assigned respectively by the journalists' and restaurateurs' tables to a wine of particular qualitative value.
