“Strong in quality, authoritative in management”, this is the title of the meeting organized by Vi.VO Cantine on Wednesday 25 October 2023 at 3.00 pm at the company headquarters in Salgareda (TV).
It will be an opportunity to present the Vi.VO cooperation model and the new Prà dei Dogi line , with the special participation of the Wine Expert Filippo Bartolotta .
A model that allowed Vi.VO Cantine to achieve exceptional growth in turnover (41.6%) in 2022, thanks to the trust of its members, the increase in surface areas and contributions and investments in 4.0 innovations.
The management of the cooperative, with a mutuality coefficient of 98%, is concentrated in the exclusive interest of the members, aiming at the objective of ensuring them liquidity that is certain in amount and constant over time, as highlighted by the President of Vi.VO Cantine , Prof. Corrado Giacomini: "In 2022 we poured more than 100 million euros into the area, it is clear that our cooperative plays an important role in the economy of the community of which it is part."
These goals were achieved through two strategic directions . One of the keys to this growth was the expansion of the vineyard area , which went from 5,000 hectares in 2019 to 6,300 hectares in 2022, a confirmation of the trust that members place in the cooperative.
Furthermore, the company has invested over 10 million euros in two years for equipment, infrastructure and storage facilities. These investments led to an increase in storage capacity from 593,000 hectoliters in 2018 to 983,000 hectoliters in 2022.
Furthermore, the meeting "Strong in quality, authoritative in management" will be the ideal event to give visibility and value to a project , to a vision that is realized through clear objectives, will and commitment but also thanks to synergies and sharing.
These are the premises that have allowed us to design and create the new Vi.VO Cantine line with the evocative name "Pra dei Dogi" which takes up the history and legacy of the ancient rulers of Venice and which will be presented during the event on Wednesday 25th October. Three wines that represent the quintessence of a suitable territory: Prosecco Spumante Brut, Pinot Grigio Venezia DOC and Merlot Venezia DOC.
The special guest of the presentation will be Filippo Bartolotta, one of the best-known ambassadors of Italian wine in the world, a multifaceted figure: wine expert, popularizer, writer, sommelier, globetrotter.
“In a large cooperative with 2000 winemakers and an area of 6300 hectares, it is difficult to find quality like this” declared Bartolotta referring to the new “Pra dei Dogi” line.
“These are wines that are not based on the sugar load or the extraction load. We are talking about lively, agile wines that benefit from climate change but above all from the investments in human resources, sustainable agriculture and technologies that this group is making, we are talking about one of the 3-4 most important groups in Italy".
To conclude the meeting in style, guests will be able to enjoy a dinner, a special moment to share and savor delicious dishes in our company
