Verona Christmas Run: with Cantine di Verona we run for research

Cantine di Verona is Gold Sponsor of the AGSM AIM Verona Christmas Run , a solidarity race that will light up the magic of Christmas in the heart of the Verona city on Sunday 17 December . The charity initiative , organized by the amateur sports association Verona Marathon in collaboration with the Municipality of Verona, will allocate part of the registration fee to UILDM - Italian Union for the Fight against Muscular Dystrophy , active in the Verona area since 1971 as a point of reference for people with neuromuscular diseases. In particular, the proceeds from the 2023 edition will finance a research project of the Telethon Foundation , a non-profit organization founded in 1990 to respond to the appeal of patients suffering from rare diseases that UILDM Verona supports through the organization of fundraisers and initiatives of disclosure. The AGSM AIM Verona Christmas Run will start at 9.40 from Piazza Bra. Participants will be able to choose whether to run or walk along one of the two proposed routes, 5 or 10 km. To make the atmosphere of the historic center even more Christmassy, you can purchase a Santa Claus outfit when you register to wear it during the race. The race will end with an award ceremony for the best finishers and a toast at the finish line to celebrate the Christmas holidays and welcome the new year to come. The Scaliger cooperative winemaking group will award the overall winners the Custoza Doc Spumante Extra Dry Cuvée Radetzky while the other participants will win the Bardolino Chiaretto Doc Torre del Falasco .
