Twenty-six Sicilian companies represent the wine heritage at ProWein 2024

Now in its thirtieth edition, the most important wine, spirits and alcoholic beverages fair in the world based in Düsseldorf, confirms itself as an important event for Sicilian wine companies. There will be twenty-six in total, twelve of which will be united in the Assovini Sicilia collective. From 10 to 12 March, the thirteen pavilions of the Messe Düsseldorf trade fair organization will host six thousand exhibitors and four hundred wine areas, over 50,000 professionals from the wine and spirits sector from all over the world and sixty countries represented. The twenty-six associated companies of Assovini Sicilia are distributed as follows: twelve companies are part of the Assovini Sicilia collective and are brought together in the ATI “Prost” with Tenute Nicosia Sicilia as leader while the remaining Sicilian companies are present in different areas and pavilions. Together, they represent the Island through the variety of its DOC and PGI. The Sicily Area, managed this year exclusively by the IRVO ((Regional Institute of Wines and Oils of Sicily), is located in Pavilion 17. Our members, increasingly consolidated in foreign markets, have established themselves thanks to the extraordinary quality of the wine production and the communication and marketing strategies implemented.
