Tramonto DiVino lights up the Riviera: three evenings featuring the best of Emilia-Romagna's food and wine.

  • 24/06/2026

The great wines of Emilia Romagna, promoted by Enoteca Regionale and described by AIS sommeliers, will be featured in: Riccione, on July 18th, with Piadina Romagnola IGP as the star of the show; Cervia, on July 24th, for a special event dedicated to food pairing, featuring certified products and artisanal gins; and Cesenatico, on August 7th, with the ChefToChef Association showcasing the Patata di Bologna DOP.

And once again, the curtain will be raised with Novebolle, the collective brand of Romagna sparkling wines, the DOP and IGP products of the regional consortia, stories of wine and food, live music, and much more.

Tramonto DiVino, the Emilia-Romagna road show of taste, returns to the Riviera as a major attraction for food tourism: a format capable of reaching new audiences, from wine lovers to experiential tourists, transforming wine, regional DOP and IGP products into opportunities for discovery and storytelling.

Supported by the Emilia-Romagna Regional Wine Shop, the Regional Department of Agriculture, Unioncamere, and Apt Servizi, the event has built a solid network over the years with coastal municipalities, tourism operators, Federalberghi Riccione, the Cesenatico Beach Resort Operators Association, Proloco Project Milano Marittima, and local trade associations.

Three events are planned on the Riviera between Riccione, Cervia, and Cesenatico, offering the best of regional food and wine in iconic locations of the Romagna summer. Enoteca Regionale Emilia Romagna plays a key role in the event, promoting all the small and medium-sized regional wineries through Tramonto DiVino, a large branded space, to encourage the public to consume Emilia-Romagna wines in a more informed manner.

The 2026 Tramonto DiVino Riviera tour was presented to the press and industry professionals at the Club Nautico in Riccione. Mattia Guidi, Councilor for Tourism for the Municipality of Riccione, Fabio Tosi, Mayor of Fiscaglia, Renzo Armuzzi, Head of the Emilia-Romagna Region's Agri-food Innovation and Promotion Sector, and top representatives of the regional wine industry: Davide Frascari, President of Enoteca Regionale, Adolfo Treggiari and Luca Manfredi, Presidents of AIS Romagna and Emilia, and Roberto Monti, President of the Consorzio Vini di Romagna. The event, coordinated by Maurizio Magni, PrimaPagina journalist, also featured representatives of the partner associations and Alfio Biagini, President of the Consortium for the Promotion and Protection of Piadina Romagnola IGP.

Riccione, Cervia, and Cesenatico: regional flavors take center stage

After the debut stages in Emilia, on June 20th in Fiscaglia (Fe) and on July 10th in Arceto (Re), Tramonto DiVino lands on the Riviera.

Riccione – The event kicks off on Saturday, July 18th in Riccione, in the gardens of Villa Mussolini , from 7:30 pm to 11:30 pm, for an evening designed for tourists, wine lovers, and the curious. The event is organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Riccione and is open to the Riviera public, thanks also to an agreement with Federalberghi Riccione. AIS sommeliers will guide the public through approximately 80 Emilia-Romagna wineries and over 400 wines for free tasting: Albana, Sangiovese, Rebola, Pignoletto, Lambrusco, Vini delle Sabbie, Gutturnio, Ortrugo, Malvasia, and wines from the San Marino Hills. Among the most anticipated stands are the one dedicated to the Best 100 and the 12 Ambassadors of the AIS Emilia Romagna Guide to Drinking and Eating 2026/2027, along with a space reserved for Classic Method Sparkling Wines selected by the "Giuliano Zuppiroli" award. The gastronomic star of the evening will be the Piadina Romagnola PGI, interpreted with a complete and original menu by Daniele Reponi, a master of national street food. The guest of honor will be the Romagna sparkling wines from Novebolle, a collective brand of the Consorzio Vini di Romagna. Also making a notable debut is the Formaggio di Fossa di Sogliano PDO, offered as is and in a gourmet version, alongside Culatello di Zibello, Prosciutto di Parma, Parmigiano Reggiano, Squacquerone di Romagna PDO, and Cocomero Dolce Passione.

The Best Wine Awards in Riccione

On July 18th, Riccione will also host the awards ceremony for the 100 best wines of Emilia and Romagna and the 12 Ambassador wines, recognized by the AIS Emilia Romagna da Bere e da Mangiare guide. The awards ceremony will take place at the Palazzo del Turismo in Riccione starting at 5:00 PM, while the 12 Ambassador wines will be awarded directly during the evening event at Villa Mussolini. Admission to this event is by invitation only.

Cervia - Second appointment In Cervia on July 24th, between the ancient Torre San Michele and the Magazzini del Sale , with a special stop dedicated to Gin and Vermouth. Around twenty artisanal producers from across Italy will offer gin alone and paired with prestigious tonics, sharing their botanicals, aromas, and production styles. Alongside them, a large bar curated by the Enoteca Regionale Emilia-Romagna will offer local labels transformed by professional bartenders into original cocktails, sometimes mixed with regional wines and typical local products. Contemporary food pairing will also take center stage, with Daniele Reponi's AperiDop: a creative aperitif combining Gin and Tonic with Piacenza DOP cured meats, from Coppa to Pancetta to Salami.

Cesenatico - The tour will then stop on Friday, August 7th in Cesenatico, in Piazza Spose dei Marinai , between the Leonardo-designed port and the sea, for the historic Tramonto DiVino sul Mare evening. Starting at 7:30 pm, the area will become a vast tasting arena with over 400 regional wines presented by AIS sommeliers, a wine bar featuring the top wines of the AIS Guide, and a lounge dedicated to Novebolle, paired with a gourmet tartare of Vitellone Bianco dell'Appennino Centrale PGI. The star of the show will be the Patata di Bologna PDO, interpreted by chef Omar Casali of ChefToChef Emiliaromagnacuochi with Formaggio di Fossa di Sogliano PDO and Pancetta Piacentina PDO. The tastings will be rounded out with finger food featuring the region's top PDO and PGI wines and fresh Dolce Passione watermelon.

The award for the most beautiful labels

Among the new features of the 2026 edition is the "Tramonto DiVino – Label Award: the most beautiful labels," an award dedicated to wineries participating in the AIS Emilia Romagna Guide to Drinking and Eating , presented to all participants at the entrance. The aim of the award is to identify the labels that best convey the visual identity, creativity, and communication skills of regional wineries. The award is a collaboration between Tramonto DiVino, the Emilia Romagna Wines App, and MyVinapp, the digital journal where wine lovers and enthusiasts can save bottles, tastings, and wine-related events. The selected labels will be uploaded to MyVinapp and voted on directly by the public during Tramonto DiVino events, from July to October 2026. The five labels with the most votes from wine lovers will participate in a dedicated masterclass during the final event of the festival, scheduled for October 18th in Parma, a UNESCO City of Gastronomy.
