The spirit of the vintage according to Pisoni 1852: the new Trentodoc Brut 2020 debuts

A new label becomes part of the wine line signed by Pisoni 1852 , a historic sparkling wine house and distillery from Pergolese (Trento): it is the Trentodoc Brut Millesimato 2020 , created to fully express the peculiarities of the vintage and of the Chardonnay , which in the splendid Valley dei Laghi, in the heart of Trentino, has found its ideal home. Before being disgorged, in January 2024, Pisoni's new creation rested for over 34 months in the cool cellar dug into the rock, a tunnel created from an old World War II air raid shelter which guarantees a natural and constant temperature of 12°C during the entire year. The riddling is done strictly by hand: each bottle is marked on the bottom with a line of white paint which is also visible on the capsule, an imprint which uniquely distinguishes each wine from the company. Before making its debut on the market, Trentodoc Brut 2020 will be presented as a preview at Vinitaly, scheduled in Verona from 14 to 17 April.

The new Trentodoc Brut 2020 is made entirely from Chardonnay grapes, grown on medium hillsides in the Valle dei Laghi area. Bright straw yellow in color and with a fine perlage, the nose reveals intense floral notes, while the sip is soft and persistent. Excellent for a refined aperitif, it also perfectly accompanies delicate first courses such as asparagus risotto.

The first vintage of Trentodoc Brut 2020, produced in 10,000 bottles, will be available from April in restaurants, wine shops and in the Pisoni online shop starting from 26.50 euros.
