THE GREAT DINNERS OF THE TURIN WINE FAIR ARE STARTING

On Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 February the Wine Show arrives in the best restaurants in Turin for a journey through the flavors of the territory and the Piedmontese wine excellences

On Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 February, the Turin Wine Fair arrives in the best restaurants in the city, inaugurating 'Le Grandi Cene'. Two evenings to taste menus created by great chefs and meet local wineries, for a food and wine journey that combines local flavors with Piedmontese wine excellence.

Among the most anticipated events of the OFF program which anticipates the Salone del Vino (2-4 March 2024), Le Grandi Cene will offer the public the opportunity to get in touch with the producers , listen to the stories behind each label and discover , through their guidance, characteristics and peculiarities of the wines that will be proposed in combination with the chefs' recipes.

In fact, each restaurant that joins the initiative will be joined by a producer chosen by the organization of the Turin Wine Show for a union that intends to enhance the restaurant menu proposal together with the best wineries in Piedmont .

As will happen, just to name a few, among the innovative recipes developed by 1 Michelin Star chef Andrea Larossa and the fine labels of the Sordo winery, which has been in the heart of Barolo for four generations; or between the tables of Gaudenzio Vino e Cucina , where the spotlight will be on the refined cuisine of the restaurant and the wines of the Tommaso Cappa winery   (Dogliani, CN) whose motto is slow fermentations ”; or, again, at the suggestive Cubique Restaurant which will host Giacomo Borgogno & Figli , producers since 1761 with the most historic cellar in Barolo; Antiche Sere , one of the most famous taverns in the city, will welcome the producers of the Post dal vin winery, a cooperative company that has been operating in the Rocchetta Tanaro area since 1960, one of the best areas suited to the production of Barbera; just as among the welcoming and contemporary rooms of Magazzino 52 it will be possible to sip the wines of Giacomo Fenocchio, a small family company founded in the Langhe in 1864.

On 28 and 29 February, great dinners dedicated to taste and sharing between iconic labels and excellent cuisines, to savor the different declinations of Piedmontese food and wine culture.
