The Go Wine Lounge at the Wine Festival, Alba Sunday 29th September

On Sunday 29 September, the 26th edition of the Go Wine Wine Festival returns to Alba, bringing the most representative wine expressions of the Langhe and Roero area to the city's historic centre .

The initiative, promoted by Go Wine, has become over time a much-loved event for the public of wine enthusiasts, both Italian and foreign; a format that, also this year, will allow you to travel the itinerary of Piazza Risorgimento (Piazza Duomo), Via Vittorio Emanuele and Via Cavour, transforming the historic center into an ideal 'wine route' for a day.

The event involves the winemaking realities of the municipalities of Langa and Roero , maintaining its connotation of a festive event, which recalls the time and the joyful character of the grape harvest, with the presence of local promotional entities, cellars, wine shops and producer associations.

Alongside the route of the Wine Festival in the historic center of Alba, a special event will be set up at the Sala Beppe Fenoglio (reachable from Piazzetta Falcone, it is located in the Maddalena courtyard): the Go Wine Lounge. The initiative will host a tasting counter in the presence of some producers from the Langa of Barolo and Barbaresco with the presence of some thematic wine shops that will represent the great Italian black grape varieties (Sangiovese, Aglianico, etc.). The lounge area, to allow good use, will be accessible (by reservation) in two shifts: 2:30 pm - 4:20 pm 4:30 pm - 6:20 pm

The Lounge is accessible to Festa del Vino participants who have purchased the complete Festa del Vino and Go Wine Lounge package.

The cost of the tasting is €25.00 for the public and €20.00 for Go Wine members.

Seating at the Go Wine Lounge is limited and reservations are recommended.
