Success for the 12th edition of Life of Wine

Over 500 people participated in the event, including sector operators, over 170, journalists, influencers and bloggers, around 70, and long-standing wine enthusiasts . “We are very satisfied with the success of the event, even if the traffic block, due to the ecological Sunday, prevented many people, especially operators and the press for whom the morning time was reserved, from being able to come to this new edition. We recorded slightly lower attendance numbers compared to last year, but we are happy with the quality." Explains Roberta Perna, organizer of Life of Wine together with Marco Ghelfi and Maurizio Valeriani.

“As far as the final public is concerned, we have observed a more interesting and less mass level due, we believe, to the increase in ticket prices this year. As regards invited operators and press, however, the selection was even more careful, in order to have at Life of Wine only activities that work continuously and professionally with wine, and journalists, bloggers and influencers exclusively from the sector and well prepared on the subject.

It was also nice to see the participation of an important number of curious and attentive sommeliers in this new edition, who came to learn about the beauty of aging wines".

The event, one of a kind, has the particularity of guiding tasters through the evolution of bottled wine, thanks to the tasting of micro verticals offered at their counter by each individual winery. There were 56 companies present this year, over 170 old vintages and over 200 wines for tasting.
