Scatto diVino is the right answer for you: a brand new photographic workshop hosted by selected local companies, which will be held at different times of the year to capture the beauty of the Friulian wine landscape in the various seasons and times of the day. Saturday 14 March 2020 - WINTER LANDSCAPE from 10.00 to 16.00 - Aquila del Torre (Savorgnano del Torre - UD) The program of the day will alternate moments of theoretical training and on the field adjustments of excellent wines and local products, all enriched by the tales of the winemaker Michele Ciani who will welcome you to his estate and provide valuable information to get in touch with the territory which we will then immortalize. From 10.00 to 12.00: welcome from the winemaker, presentation of the workshop and theoretical introduction From 12.00 to 13.00: light lunch based on local products paired with Aquila del Torre wines From 13.00 to 16.00: photographic output in the panoramic vineyard and in the forest surrounding the company.

The Workshop conducted by Nicola Picogna, photographer and nature guide, is dedicated to learning and perfecting the techniques used in landscape photography.We will analyze the potential and characteristics of photographic filters, tools that can radically change the aesthetics of an image. We will understand why they are fundamental also in the eradella of digital photography and why not even the best processing software can replace them. We will deepen the main filters - ND, GND, variable ND, polarizer - in all their uses, we will understand together how and when to use them and when not to use them. The relevant part of the experience will be the in-depth study of the photographic composition and the focusing techniques will not be forgotten.

Recommended equipment: • Reflex camera, mirrorless or alternatively also an advanced compact • Lenses of your choice, too long or excessively wide-angle lenses are not recommended • The tripod will be necessary both to be able to shoot in low light conditions, and to have greater control of the filters • Remote shutter system (as an alternative to the latter, the self-timer function can be used).
