RUCHÈ FESTIVAL 2023

The Ruchè Producers Association of Castagnole Monferrato , in collaboration with the Consorzio Barbera d'Asti e Vini del Monferrato and Go Wine , will welcome Ruchè professionals and enthusiasts to the La Mercantile Estate of Castagnole Monferrato (AT) on 13 and 14 May 2023 . There will be two days of celebrations: from tastings of Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato DOCG to meetings with producers, from entertainment to the gastronomic excellence of the area. Last but not least, during the days of the Festa del Ruchè the companies present will be open and can be visited .

Franco Cavallero , the new President of the Castagnole Monferrato Ruchè Producers Association , presents the main event to promote the denomination in this way . « It is the moment in which the producers are gathered in an extraordinary place, the Mercantile, to present themselves to the public and to make the territory known . – Continues Cavallero – Precisely with the aim of making the area and its beauties discovered, we have decided, this year, to give the cellars the opportunity to open their doors and welcome wine tourists. ».

« The mission of the Protection Consortium is to safeguard and promote the denominations it protects and to support producers in their promotional activities such as the Festa del Ruchè. – Says Filippo Mobrici, the President of the Consorzio Tutela Barbera d'Asti and Vini del Monferrato , – To be successful in the world and have an identity it is in fact important to be strong in one's own territory . The event is also an opportunity to promote valuable tourism to make known the beauties of our area, "World Heritage Site" by Unesco .».

The Festa del Ruchè 2023 is the right opportunity to get to know Monferrato , the Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato DOCG, the local gastronomic specialties, the producers and cellars of the area, an evocative place rich in history like La Mercantile and breathtaking places.

Tastings and methods:

- Tasting table (in the indicated shift) in the direct presence of the cellars of the Producers' Association. Free tasting in the splendid rooms of the La Mercantile estate

- Silk-screened goblet of the Ruchè Producers Association and free pouch

- The entrance ticket includes, in addition to a visit to the cellar, the possibility of tasting the wines where they are produced at no additional cost: it is sufficient to show the silk-screened goblet. There are also paid tastings to deepen the vine given by the participating cellars.

Visit to the historic cellar in the vinification and aging rooms. Visit to an infernot. Walk

in the vineyards of the cellar (with map) for a journey of about 40 minutes
