RADICI DEL SUD 2026 - Southern Italy Wine and Olive Oil Show

Registration is now open for wine and oil producers, operators and the public for the 21st edition of Radici del Sud , which this year will once again be held in the newly renovated former Paolo Cassano Distillery in Gioia del Colle (Bari). From 3 to 8 June 2026 , the event will host the annual event, which puts the national and international spotlight on wine and oil production in Italy's southern regions. The event promotes quality and value through a competition dedicated to wines from native grape varieties, tours of the regions, B2B meetings with importers, tastings and seminars to celebrate 20 years with the companies and wines that have made the South great. Vertical tastings of 20 years of various native grape varieties from the southern regions are planned to tell and introduce national and international guests and the public who will attend to the epochal transition of Southern wine from industrial production to the valorization of the territory and sustainability, establishing itself in the world thanks to the uniqueness and authenticity of the wines produced.

Registration for producers and visitors to the 21st edition is now open in the dedicated area of the website: www.radicid.idelsut. For a few more days, both producers and visitors can register at reduced rates until February 28th.

While work is underway to organize the event, the six-day program has already been finalized: from June 3rd to 5th, guests, journalists, and international importers will be accompanied on tours of the region; June 7th and 8th will be closed-door days dedicated to the Southern Italian Wine Competition and meetings between importers and producers of wine and olive oil from Abruzzo, Molise, Basilicata, Campania, Calabria, Puglia, Sardinia, and Sicily; on June 8th , from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the conference will award the winning wines of the 21st edition of the competition, and from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., the event will be open to the public, including industry professionals and enthusiasts, who will meet with wine and olive oil producers to learn about the latest vintages from the winery and mill. From 9:00 PM onwards, the grand closing party will feature a tasting of over 90 winning wines from the 21st edition, a display of all the show's oils for free tasting, and dishes prepared by three great Southern Italian chefs.

Radici del Sud is an event promoted annually by the association of the same name since 2005, passionately and diligently exploring the themes and innovations of Southern Italy's wine and olive oil scene. For 2026, the experience of twenty-one editions, the careful and up-to-date focus on innovations, and, of course, the inimitable allure of Southern Italy's wines and olive oils, will restore the event's deserved centrality among major events dedicated to Italian native wines.
