ON THE OCCASION OF VINITALY, GARDA DOC LAUNCHES THE TWO EVENTS WHICH IN 2023 WILL BRING THE DENOMINATION TO THE ATTENTION OF THE INTERNATIONAL PRESS AND THE CONSUMER PUBLIC

In the context of Vinitaly 2023, the Garda DOC Consortium, present for the first time in its history at the international fair with its own stand, presents the events " Garda Wine Stories " and " Garda DOC a Bordo " to the press. The two appointments, the first dedicated to the press and the second dedicated to the public of wine lovers , are aimed at sculpting the identity of the wines of the appellation, from varietals to bubbles, in the collective imagination.

" In recent years as a Consortium we have worked hard to make the wines of the Garda area more and more known, from the historical denominations to varietal wines. " explains the President Paolo Fiorini " We are really satisfied with the work done up to now but we are aware that Vinitaly is only the starting point of a long process of promotion of our territory and our wine heritage which will culminate in June, with the Garda Wine Stories event This appointment will be dedicated to the Italian and international press: we will not only present the wines of the appellation but also the experiences connected to it.The Garda area, in fact, known and renowned all over the world for its peculiar beauty, offers many opportunities for wine tourism and experiences to discover the area."

Furthermore, in the calendar of the Consortium, always in the month of June, Garda DOC a Bordo is scheduled, a review of four evenings open to the public organized together with Hostaria, a cultural association that organizes and promotes events related to the world of food and wine. The event will see the wines of the producers of the Consortium being poured on board the Zanardelli motorboat while sailing on Lake Garda

" declares Alessandro Medici, President of Hostaria " Garda DOC is a denomination that is strongly identified with the lake, and this is why we wanted to bring the public right here, on the waters of Garda The evenings not only include the tasting of the wines of the producers of the Consortium but also the combination with typical Garda dishes.An event designed in grand style from every point of view, which in each of the evenings will bring 120 people on board the motorboat Zanardelli ".

For the Garda DOC Consortium, the year 2023 will be a decisive year as regards the promotion of the denomination.
