2026, the year that saw the official launch of Classese and the announcement of a new project on still wines—with the historic Montenapoleone mention—also brings another innovation for the Consorzio Vini Oltrepò Pavese: OltreGusto Oltrepò Terra di Pinot Nero is born, combining the sixth edition of the consortium event dedicated to the classic method DOCG and Pinot Noir DOC (in red) and the second edition of Oltregusto, which brings together local flavors and food and wine excellence.
The inauguration will be held on Monday 7 September in the enchanting setting of the Valentino Garavani Theatre in Voghera (PV) , where At 9:30 a.m. , the official greetings will be held, followed by a technical masterclass led by Alessandro Masnaghetti, the most authoritative creator of viticultural maps. He will delve deeper into the study and mapping work carried out in the area over the past few months, which has led to the creation of a short volume on the main aspects shaping the winemaking landscape and the essential 2D and 3D maps of the Oltrepò Pavese.
Oltrepò Terra di Pinot Nero then continues in the garden of the Gallini Institute in Voghera, a temple of agricultural education since 1894. Here, from 11 am to 5 pm, the tasting stands of 32 wineries will be open, offering over one hundred labels of Classese, Metodo Classico dell'Oltrepò Pavese DOCG and Pinot Nero dell'Oltrepò Pavese DOC for tasting to the press and operators.
At the same time, two blind tasting sessions of the blanc de noirs and rosé de noir will be available. Oltrepò Padana, in the morning from 12:00 for the press and in the afternoon from 14:30 for operators, an opportunity for a systematic study of the denomination, especially in the light of the Classese.
The protagonists of the day will be the wineries, in strict alphabetical order: Alessio Brandolini, Bosco Longhino, Bruno Verdi, Cà del Gé, Calatroni, Cantina Taia, Cantine Cavallotti, Castello di Cigognola, Conte Vistarino, Cordero San Giorgio, Fiamberti, Finigeto, Francesco Quaquarini, Giorgi, La Genisia, La Piotta, La Travaglina, Lefiole, Lozza, Monsupello, Montelio, Oltrenero, Picchi, Pietro Torti, Prime Alture, Rossetti & Scrivani, Scuropasso, Tenuta Frecciarossa, Tenuta Mazzolino, Tenuta Travaglino, Terre Bentivoglio, and Torre degli Alberi.
At sunset, Oltrepò Terra di Pinot Nero changes face and becomes Oltregusto.
On Monday, September 7th and Tuesday, September 8th, from 7:00 PM to midnight, visitors will be able to enjoy a unique culinary experience, continuing to taste the DOCG and DOC wines of the Oltrepò Pavese area, while also meeting the area's top restaurateurs and discovering excellent products thanks to the event's partner companies.
Each evening, there will be five wine tastings and nine tastings from as many Oltrepò restaurants , offering hot and cold, sweet and savory dishes from their finest repertoire. Alongside these, there will also be cooking demonstrations with Michelin-starred Italian chefs and distinguished guests, who will take turns on stage preparing their creations live.
The meetings will be hosted by Carlo Passera, editorial coordinator of Identità Golose, who will guide the audience through the chefs' recipes, techniques, and culinary philosophies.
The preparations made during the shows will then be offered to participants in finger food format, allowing them to enjoy a complete gastronomic experience.
The union of the two events allows for a concrete promotion of the area's excellence, highlighting the quality of Pinot Noir wines (and more) and the food and wine heritage expressed in these hills at the foot of the Apennines.

The starred chefs for the show cooking will be: Salvatore Morello, Roberto di Pinto, Michele Cobuzzi, Andrea de Lillo, Giacomo Devoto, Tim Goelstejin, Mattia Casabianca, Gaia Castelnovo, Tommaso Foglia.
On Tuesday the 8th , the restaurants will be: Villa Naj, Ad Astra, Bazzini, Buscone, Novanta, Osteria del Campanile, Prato Gaio, Il Desco pizzeria, and El Teresito pasticceria. The Michelin-starred chefs will be: Felice Lo Basso, Nino Ferreri, Giuseppe Biuso, Nicolò Rotella, Gian Marco Bianchi, Giacomo Sacchetto, Domenico Giove, Ilaria Caneva, and Roberto Rinaldini.
