MTV: At Calici di Stelle 2025, MTV wineries meet AVPN pizza chefs to tell the authentic taste of the Italian summer between wine, pizza, music, nature and astronomical observations

A month of unforgettable evenings, from sunset to late at night, to celebrate the meeting between authentic pizza and excellent wines. A dream combination to discover between show cooking, guided dinners, pairing games, together with the most loved activities of the wine tourism summer.

The magical evenings under the August sky of Calici di Stelle are back, the summer event of the Movimento Turismo del Vino that transforms Italian cellars into dream scenarios, this year with an even more special edition. From Friday 25 July to Sunday 24 August, the MTV cellars will be the spokespersons of an all-Italian love story between wine and the true Neapolitan pizza . For the first time, the producers of the Movement will host master pizza chefs from every territory: this is how the collaboration with AVPN was born, the association that, for over 40 years, has promoted and protected the true Neapolitan pizza in the world with over 1000 pizzerias in 61 countries. Two ambassadors of excellence, spread throughout the country, could not help but cross paths, founding an alliance of taste and culture aimed at celebrating the Italian food and wine heritage, through individual territorial identities.

The wines of MTV member wineries and the Neapolitan pizza of AVPN masters will be the protagonists for the entire duration of the event, including guided tastings, masterclasses, pairing workshops, show cooking and many other initiatives to learn more about this combination of inestimable cultural value that is finding more and more space and appreciation in pizzerias throughout Italy.

The smell of freshly baked pizza, the skill of the pizza chefs at work and the toasts among the rows will be the perfect setting to experience the true magic of the Italian summer. From sunset, the cellars of the Movimento Turismo del Vino will accompany visitors in search of the right pairing. Discover while having fun: this is the mood to delve into the art of pizza and the stories kept inside each wine, playing with wine pairing and letting yourself be guided by the great experience of the producers.

The Calici di Stelle 2025 calendar includes many activities to enjoy the beautiful season to the fullest: from picnics in the vineyard, to aperitifs by the pool and candlelit dinners, all accompanied by live music. There will also be many artists and performers who will bring their art among the rows, with exhibitions, performances and breathtaking shows. Some wineries will organize exclusive astronomical observations among the vineyards, with the help of telescopes or binoculars, to be fascinated by the movements of the August sky which, as is known, always reserves many surprises. This will be accompanied by numerous moments dedicated to the stories of stars, those legends and tales that speak of the precious ancestral bond between the constellations and the agricultural practices that have accompanied man since the dawn of time.

And more: creative workshops, photography exhibitions, treasure hunts, games in the cellar in the name of sociability for the guaranteed fun of young and old enthusiasts. But also activities in the name of well-being with the organization of yoga and meditation sessions to get in touch with the sounds of nature, as well as trekking and bike routes to discover the surroundings of each cellar. At Calici di Stelle wine, music, nature and astronomy meet to offer a one-of-a-kind experience with group activities, romantic experiences and tours in the company of the winemaker dedicated to those approaching the world of wine for the first time.

An event dedicated to fun and socializing but always promoting conscious and attentive drinking. Also on this occasion, in fact, the Movimento Turismo del Vino renews its partnership with Wine In Moderation to raise awareness among visitors, especially the younger ones, towards moderate wine consumption through informative activities and discounts dedicated to drivers. Calici di stelle also launches its game “Stasera mi sento…” (I feel tonight), an opportunity to share your experience not only live but also with the social community.
