Note di Pranzi has now reached the digestif and, like any self-respecting banquet, it is good to rethink all the courses tasted and take stock: did I eat well or did I eat badly? In this case, the menu was worthy of a ruler!
« It was a pleasure to welcome the numerous visitors to the exhibition and tell them the fascinating stories hidden behind the menus - enthuses Alessia Cipolla , architect, creator and curator of the exhibition and events, as well as a very passionate it was great to see so many young people admiring these small but magnificent pieces of paper ».
1200 visitors, 65 guided tours, 14 appointments, but above all a great deal of passion for these cellulose gems and all the social, cultural and artistic significance they bring with them. Young and very young, art enthusiasts, sector and restaurant operators, university students with theses on the subject and amateurs, guests also include the Amici del Menù Association, a group that collects and adores these small pieces of art and history.
Many of them have been to the exhibition more than once , even those who, perhaps, held back by mistrust but driven by curiosity, have become passionate about the theme, discovering a truly new world . Note di Pranzi has proved to be a success above all for this reason, it has awakened the curiosity of many and generated a strong passion in others.
« The first stage of this splendid adventure of the Note di Lunches exhibition – Menus in history has brought a renewed interest and centrality to the culture at the table, broadening the horizons beyond the single dish or course – continues Alessia Cipolla – and this journey is destined to continue in new future stages ».
