Labrenta does not stop in the construction and promotion of a sustainable business model, in terms of production processes, offer and corporate culture. The Breganze (Vicenza) company, specialized in locking solutions, celebrates 50 years of activity with the sharing of the Labrenta Green Deal 2030 project , in line with the development objectives that respect the environment and human beings indicated by United Nations 2030 Agenda . The roadmap consists of several stages, relating to the use of increasingly sustainable materials, the choice of partners who share the same sensitivity and drive for innovation and the adoption of internal practices useful for reducing the environmental impact. As for the products, the emblem of Labrenta's commitment is a cap that is part of the T-shape Wood family , designed for reuse over time and assembled with NGS technology, which does not require the use of glues. The wood used for the head is FSC certified, therefore it comes from responsibly managed forests. The body is made of Sughera®, a revolutionary material patented by Labrenta that reuses cork production waste by assembling them with a minimum quantity of plastic polymers. The company's plan is to eliminate glue from T-shape caps in 2025 to produce only recycled, biobased or biodegradable plastic solutions in 2030. To do so, Labrenta carefully selects partners . First of all, the start-up Mixcycling® , born in 2019 and engaged in Research & Development for the production of new sustainable materials and in the creation of innovative caps with a reduced environmental footprint. "Climate change, air pollution, waste disposal are urgent issues that require all our commitment and do not allow for procrastinations - declares Gianni Tagliapietra , CEO of Labrenta - We must act as a team in which everyone is called to give your contribution. Therefore, the involvement and awareness of collaborators becomes fundamental. We want to be a first-rate reality capable of transmitting good practices ”. The internal declination of the Labrenta Green Deal 2030 project , in fact, provides for the implementation of separate waste collection, with the possibility for employees to bring special waste to the company. Water bottles have been distributed to eliminate all plastic bottles and, for breaks, the proposal of healthy food for proper nutrition continues. The conversion to digital will continue until the use of paper is completely eliminated. Added to this is the adoption of 100% recycled and FSC certified packaging. Finally, a 150 kW solar park will be built with the aim of increasing independence from the national grid.
