'GARDA DOC ON BOARD': FOUR APPOINTMENTS TO TASTE GARDA DOC WINES ON THE LAKE

ON THE FOURTH THURSDAYS OF THE MONTH IN JUNE, LAKE GARDA WILL BE THE THEATER OF "GARDA DOC ON BOARD", AN EVENT DEDICATED TO WINE ENTHUSIASTS TO DISCOVER THE DIFFERENT EXPRESSIONS OF THE VARIETAL WINES OF LAKE GARDA ON BOARD THE ZANARDELLI MOTORSHIP.

The Garda Doc Consortium will bring the wines of the denomination aboard the Zanardelli motor ship. Indeed, on 1st June, Garda Doc a Bordo will be inaugurated, an event with an exclusive format that will offer the public the opportunity to discover the wines of the Garda area on board the motor vessel Zanardelli . Garda Doc a Bordo is presented as a review of four weekly evenings, on Thursdays in the month of June, aimed at the public of wine enthusiasts, who will be able to deepen their knowledge of the wines of the appellation, which brings together a great variety of types, from varietals to bubbles.

“ Lake Garda is the common denominator of the entire Garda area and the point of interconnection between the three provinces over which the denomination extends: Mantua, Brescia and Verona. This could only be the place to organize an event that fully represents our denomination and the values of the Consortium” declares Paolo Fiorini, President of the Garda Doc Consortium “The evenings will take place on board the Zanardelli motor ship, and the undisputed protagonists will be the wines of the producers of the Consortium, poured on board the ship while sailing on the waters of our iconic lake. ” The review of Garda Doc a Bordo events was created in collaboration with Hostaria, a cultural association that organizes and promotes events related to the world of food and wine. “ Together with the Consortium we wanted to create a unique experience in a sartorial way, modeled on the values of the Consortium and on what it represents in the Garda area ” declares Alessandro Medici, President of Hostaria “ The format of these evenings is designed to bring to life a 360° Garda Doc signed experience. The cocktail dinner program, in fact, not only includes the tasting of the wines of the Consortium producers but also the combination with dishes of the typical Garda cuisine, live music, all while sailing in the waters of Lake Garda, immersed in a 'really suggestive setting ”. In addition to the four evenings open to the public, 1 | 15 | 22 | 29 June, there will be an institutional evening, during which, among the guests of honor, there will be a delegation of thirty journalists from the national and international press, guests of the Consortium, who in the following days they will visit the Garda area to touch and directly experience the immeasurable wine heritage of this territory, known and renowned throughout the world for its peculiar beauty. The Garda Doc on Board event is supported in its entirety by the Consortium and entry will be free upon reservation subject to availability. Garda Doc on Board and Garda Wine Stories, the journey dedicated to the press, are strategic pieces of a process of renewal and consolidation of the Denomination's image which in 2023 will mark a decisive turning point.
