The press conference to present FoodExp will be held on Saturday 16 March at 10am in the Open Space of Palazzo Carafa in Piazza Sant'Oronzo in Lecce . In fact, on Wednesday 3 and Thursday 4 April , the Dominican Cloister in Lecce will host the seventh edition of the International Food and Wine and Hotel Hospitality Forum , conceived and organized by Giovanni Pizzolante 's Sinext .
In 2024 the long-awaited event, which every year brings the protagonists of the Italian and international catering and hotel industry to Salento, is dedicated to the theme " DNA, Origins and contaminations of Italian cuisine ". Chef, maître, restaurant manager, bartender, public administrators, journalists and communicators will meet and discuss to talk about the contemporary identity and possible future scenarios of the gastronomic and culinary culture of our country. A rich program of talks, live performances, wine tasting, tasting tables, gourmet tastings, pizzas of quality and memorable lunches which will involve thousands of enthusiasts and professionals. FoodExp is among the events recognized and promoted by the Apulian institutions which, in this context, are called to dialogue and interact on strategic issues such as tourism promotion, economic development, training. The press conference will be attended by Sebastiano Leo (councilor for work, professional training, right to study, education and university of the Puglia Region), Alessandro Delli Noci (councillor for Economic Development of the Puglia Region) , Paolo Foresio (councillor for economic development, productive and artisanal activities, entertainment and tourism of the Municipality of Lecce), Giovanni Pizzolante (creator and organizer of FoodExp) and the other partners involved. After the meeting, in the rooms of the nearby Risorgimento Resort, FoodExp will offer a tasty welcome aperitif.
